Awful experience, I will not being going back here again . The server was unprofessional, listening to personal conversations and involving herself this is not what I expected from a server . Food was cold and seemed to look and taste reheated portions were all different the warmest part was the plate . If I'm honest we couldn't wait to get out of there

We decided to book last minute and we're so glad we did. Angelina is the most happy pleasant lady as were all waitresses. Nothing was too much trouble. Was seated at a lovely table and served immediately. The food was excellent. We both had the chicken curry which was very tasty with plenty of chicken. The menu is, very reasonable too with 2 courses for £17.95 worth every penny. Deserts are very good too. For a last minute decision this was a very good choice and we will definately be returning soon. Thank you and keep up the fantastic work.

Excellent Sunday lunch, creamy garlic mushroom starter was lovely, beef was beautifully cooked and all the trimmings were great. Very polite and efficient waiter, a really nice experience.

The staff were friendly, service was slow. The table next to us received their food before us and arrived 10-15 mins after us which I wasn't impressed about didn't mention it as whilst waiting to catch a server ours came. 2/4 of us enjoyed meal but those that had chips didn't as they were triple cooked and were charcoal black so looked cremated. Had nice meals here before so was surprised this wasn't pleasant. Its a shame as we were celebrating a birthday so very disappointed.

2nd year running we have been for mother's day. Last year can't complain at all. ( Apart from catching covid, can't be helped ) This year we booked a little later as it was very busy previous year. It was busy again but, sadly we had to wait nearly an hour for our starter to arrive. We then had to return a beef cheek as it was too tough to eat. The manager did kindly refund us on all starters. When the waiter collected our plates he dropped a bowl on one of my relatives feet, again did apologise. Then went on to ask if we were ready to order our deserts. We made him aware we had not even had our mains yet. The food was edible but not up to its usual standard. We decided to not have a desert as we had now been there over 2hrs and the baby was becoming very restless and we did not want to wait another hour. All staff were polite and rushed off their feet and can't complain about them. I feel the pub had taken on far too many orders to deal with.

What a fabulous find on our weekend trip to Cardiff. We love Thailand and Thai food and this didn’t disappoint at all. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and great tasty authentic food

We eat there occasionally, once a month maybe, food is always great but the staff can be a little under friendly. Not very welcoming. When I walk into a pub or restaurant I want a warm welcome, to feel like my business is appreciated. It really could do with the decor being funked up a bit too. It’s weird but I feel the decor has a lot to do with whether people enjoy going to a place. The Red House is always packed and the food is defo NOT better there so it must be the very friendly staff & stunning decor. Just a little tip for thought maybe?

Food was very good, the lemonade drink was flat warm and not offered ice, the lady doesn’t seem to want you to go to bar to look at the beers and lagers on offer, we asked for bread roll or bread n butter very shortly replied if it’s not on the menu then no, the menu was very basic

Large free car park across the road from the venue. Friendly staff, good service. Food was excellent, 4 of us, including a vegan - all happy with the choices, taste etc. Looking forward to our next visit in a couple of weeks.
