The Inn At Rhiwderin – NewportTasty food, staff were very friendly and helpful, nice atmosphere.
Bangkok Cafe – CardiffReally nice home cooked Sunday lunch with generous portions of everything.
The Inn At Rhiwderin – NewportSausage and Mash and Chicken Tikka kebab very good. Lovely food, best in Newport/ Church Aston
The Last Inn – NewportFood was incredible. Service was friendly and helpful. Only seemed to be 1 member of staff on though so good took a while, but worth the wait.
The Last Inn – NewportSunday lunch well presented and tasty but low in portion size overall and beef cut wafer thin. Obviously times are hard but carveries offer more for lower price, not sure it would make me want to return but to be fair food quality and service good just snipped on the beef especially. Cut the beef thicker for 15 quid!
The Last Inn – NewportLovely food good value. Really nice atmosphere and good service. The seafood sharing board was delicious. Thankyou last Inn for a lovely night
The Last Inn – NewportVery disappointing, booked a table over a month ago. Was put on a table that was far to big for 2 people. Eventually got moved only because my husband asked. No one came to take our drink order husband had to go to the bar which took ages. No starters most of them had sold out. Ordered mains when it eventually came my husband had fish and chips. Chips were cold and looked like they were the bits from the bottom of the chip pan asked for a free portion waitress said would ask she never even came back. I ordered the risotto with chicken, no chicken they had forgotten had to ask for it. Another waitress took our plates and asked if everything g was OK we said no she thought we were joking. She told the manager who offered us a free dessert, we ordered another drink which never came we'd finished our dessert and said to forget the drink now we had finished. Very disappointing service and food. Another couple by us got up and left sue to waiting far to long for someone to come and take there order. Won't be going back again!!!!
The Last Inn – NewportHad a lovely meal on Tuesday evening, service was first class, food arrived quickly, hot and as requested, menu had a good variety of meals
The Last Inn – NewportWe visited for Valentine’s Day and felt so ripped off. My husband had a burger but couldn’t eat it as the meat was cheap and inedible. I had duck breast and it was fatty and chewy. The desert was meant to be red velvet brownie but it was just a chocolate sponge cake. Plates were never hot. We heard so many complaints whilst eating so it wasn’t just us. We heard the manager talking down to his new waitresses constantly throughout our meal which I found unprofessional. I wouldn’t visit again any time soon. We are new to Newport so wanted to try and give a local place a chance but it’s the worst meal we’ve ever had and a waste of nearly £80
The Last Inn – NewportHad a meal at the Rhiwderin on Thursday night. The service and food were excellent. The waitress was very attentive. A shame there was only us and one other couple in there. But I’m sure if there were more people the atmosphere would have been very good as the restaurant itself has a nice cozy feel about it.
The Inn At Rhiwderin – NewportFriendly staff but quite a long wait for food, luckily we weren’t in a rush so not too bothered. Ordered a ribeye medium rare but it came well done. Still very nice so didn’t complain but did mention it the waitress as others may have sent it back considering the price. Fish and chips were excellent. Will definitely come back again
The Last Inn – NewportLovely meal with friends over from Ireland for rugby . The food was full of flavour and well presented and staff very friendly and helpful. Easy to park in car park around the corner. Would definitely recommend Bangkok Cafe fabulous food with family friends or just two of you.
Bangkok Cafe – CardiffWent for Sunday lunch and found restaurant was cold considering it was cold day thought might have been warmer. Service was quick and attentive however the food was lukewarm and sticky toffee pudding was also cold. Did mention to waitress who proceeded to say they were short staffed. Not sure how this would impact on how hot or cold food was? No real apologies and ignored by staff upon leaving
The Last Inn – NewportThe food was delicious and plentiful, the service was friendly and good, we enjoyed the live music playing in the bar and the relaxed, comfortable surroundings. The Last has become our first choice for a meal out.
The Last Inn – NewportExcellent!!! Loved the service the food was fresh and vibrant. Absolute explosion of flavour. Definitely going back and I can’t wait!!!!!
Bangkok Cafe – CardiffExcellent service and food. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We use the Last Inn when our friends come to stay from Wales as they love the fact that there is live entertainment on a Saturday night and its close to home.
