Meal for 6, first ever visit, food & service both superb. Only downfall was location of our table, right next to kitchen & the pay point so alot of hustle bustle near us. Would be nice if lights were lower too to create abit of an ambience. But all our meals were spot on. Seafood very fresh. Superb.

The Aegean Taverna – HullBeen coming to magpie for years. Menu grown and food really fantastic as always. Wine list great and loos post fire refurbishment are of much higher standard. Service very friendly. Only criticism is tables pushed too close together and pretty much rushed through although food deserved longer. Don’t get greedy Magpie , your food and higher paying customers deserve longer !

The starters maxi special was as tastiest as good . The problem was the main course I has duck with prawn meat the duck was very thin and the prawn meat looked like fat with no taste. My husband had prawn curry but the prawns where over cooked
