My wife and I stopped there for a bar meal on Saturday 3/8/13 and were very pleased with the range of beers available even though i could only have one as i was driving. The staff were very friendly and helpful and they combined the Mushroom stronganof and a steak for me. The steak was very tender and the best steak I have ever had, my wife had the small fish and chips and said it was the best fish she had ever had. To just find this place by chance, we were so lucky and will definitely be back.

I visited Forsters on Friday 26 July. The waiting staff were friendly and welcoming and helpful throughout the night. We ordered off the 'Our Finest' part of the menu and the quality of the food was excellent and beautifully presented. One suggestion to those with a bigger appetite is to order off the Street Food part of the menu.

I visited Thai Fever on Saturday 3 August, my second visit in recent months. Both times I found the food to be very tasty and the portion sizes were very good. Those who do not like spicy food should not be put off trying this place as they offer non-spiced dishes as well as asking if you want the spiced versions mild, medium or hot. I can particularly recommend the spare ribs (meat fell off the bone) and tempura (very light batter) starters and also the char-grilled seafood (perfectly cooked) and stir fry roast duck (very tender meat) dishes.

Superb every time,,,,they never let me down. Portions are good ,food is great and you can always ask for more in fact landlady said 'its like all you can eat here don't you leave till your full,,,'nothing is to much trouble for that woman it's a refreshing change to go somewhere and she really cares ,this reflects on everyone that works for her too,,,,well done girl keep up the good work

Lat night was my Hen do at Salute, have to say had a brilliant time with my family & friends. We had prebooked a buffet and champagne reception, the food was fantastic & the service was outstanding. They were very attentive with everything we required & couldn't do enough for us. I had a very memorable night in perfect surroundings, i would gladly book another party or occasion at Salute just for the mere fact you know you're in good hands & can just sit back with a glass of wine & enjoy your night.

I have been to The Design House quite a few times and think the food and service are excellent. I would highly recommend it and am looking forward to going back very soon. I think it's the best in Halifax. We are very lucky.

Very glad we booked ahead as it got very busy, however the service didn't suffer at all - our food arrived promptly and was of top quality. I made the error of choosing a starter I'd never had before and didn't like it, and they took it off the bill, which I would never have asked for - hardly their fault! Dessert was especially good and worth going back for in itself.

We have eaten at Raja's three times and never been disappointed. Friendly , warm and welcoming staff, truly sumptuous food and excellent service. Furthermore, the owner himself works in the restaurant to greet customers and work alongside his staff. Always a great culinary experience!

Was looking forward to visiting this new revamped venue but found the drinks expensive the hosts too business focused to welcome you properly or say goodbye! and they were not to busy either to do this! The ambience was ok inside but we were asked straight away to make sure we took our granddaughter into the beer garden which was no problem but when you are asked to remove your cap in the pub I draw the line, its a pub not a church!! sorry guys you wont be seeing me or my family again.

Family reunion, family traveled from Leeds, Wakefield and Filey to meet our Auntie , Great Auntie and Great Great Auntie Ann (who lives in Honley ) 11 adults and 2 children 15 months and 8 months, brilliant service, fantastic food ,they even brought books and crayons out to keep Macey entertained ...Excellent ........... Menu excellent choice's This was our first visit .......but will not be our last Thank you Farmers Arms

My partner and I have just spent 2 days camping here, and I can certainly recommend this site, a warm and friendly welcome awaits, and we will certainly will be staying again.

Pub is ok but have a friend who isnt aloud in for reason I cant go into but the person that caused the trouble can still go in so I and my family and friends will no longer be going in for this reason the person in question is a so called builder and im sure most people round long preston know who im talking about

I dined with friends at lunch, the service was pleasing and the food delicious! I had scallops which were cooked to perfection!

We went to Da Sandro for my birthday last Saturday. Our meals were lovely I had pollo alla creama and it was really good loved it. I had the dime bar sweet also lovely it was a perfect birthday, thank you.

Outstanding food and attentive polite staff. Every time we eat here you cannot fault the food. Simply exquisite in lovely surroundings.

We have been this morning ordrered 2 breakfasts , waited 27 mins for it to arrive bacon (fatty) ,tomato not cooked ,sausages very salty ,egg looked like it had been through a wringer , Menu states 2 slices toast/bread so asked for 2nd slice waitress was outraged she said we have never served 2 slices so pointed it out on menu she said we have never been asked for or given 2 she did bring me another had to ask her for butter to put on toast. There wasnt a lot of customers but lots of staff who were standing about gossipping and talking to Chefs baby .very dissappointing

Brilliant atmosphere and terrific food. £18 set menu or very reasonably priced main menu. Bring your wine (no longer allowed to include this in the price - thanks Sheffield Council for that one!).Great for families, couples and celebrations. It only seats about 30 so booking highly recommended as they are almost always full.If you like Italian food, you really must try an evening here.
