really busy but staff remained friendly and helpful. a great place to go in a group as quite loud.

Wide choice of simple, honest food well prepared from lots of fresh ingredients at a bargain price. Excellent value, no-nonsense dining.

We have had two family celebrations here, both were a great success. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly and despite us arriving late they accommodated us with a smile. The food is very good and we particularly like the upstairs lounge where you can relax with a drink before or after your meal. Highly recommended.

The Crown is one of my families favourites, the friendly staff and excellent food and service make for a more than enjoyable evening for all! Well worth a visit especially for a Chicken Parmesan, don't just take my word for it try it for yourself! You will not be disappointed!

Sunrise restaurant is a beautiful restaurant with loads of different varieties of delicious kashmiri foods and the cost was very cheep and the service and food was wonderful i would recommend it to anyone that wanted to visit a nice restaurant and it is actually a banquet and the cost is £6:00 and it used to be 5:00

I visited the Crosby after hearing it was under new ownership and I can honestly say the standards have considerably improved since. The welcome from the barman was fantastic - as was the service and the food. The Crosby is a very cosy and comfortable pub anyway, but the excellent friendly service makes it more so. The last management dropped the usual high standards of the Crosby which reflected in the food and service quality - therefore I stopped visiting. I am sure it is the same for many customers. I can truly recommend the Crosby the anyone thinking of visiting and promise you will enjoy your meal there! Hats off to the new staff and management for improving things so quickly and successfully!!!

I go to the goose every other day I think its amazing the staff are grand clean friendly atmosphere I recommend it if u are wanting a good low cost meal!

The young French chief is able to produce very good food. Bar manager knows his customers. Black Sheep (First Class)and other beers are good/Look at the different drinks behind the bar

I went to the Rhubarb Triangle && it was amazing, the food was gorgeous && they gave a nice amount. Not too much, not too little. The staff were friendly and had smiles on their faces at all times, which i think is important. The next day i then discussed it with a friend, and she said how nice it is, so we arranged for us 2 and 7 other friends to go. We look forward to it =]

This restaurant is two words for you SPOT ON. Absolutely gorgeous, taken loads of friends their and they agree. The boxes are fantastic. You pay for what you get, well worth it

What a cocktail Bar but pleeeeeeeeeeeeease do not tell too many as I would hate the secret to get out what an electric night of music with DJ Harvey. Keep it up Boutique. My fave venue.

If this is the correct site for The Fleece at Holme.I can't believe no one has yet said what an excellent pub this is for good food and atmosphere. Perhaps they want to keep it to themselves!

We called in as we were passing and were welcomed. Coal fire! The grub was excellent. The Theakstons bitter was ambrosia.

Top quality & freshly cooked meal. No frozen veg here!!! Very friendly, relaxed atmosphere with no "edge". Have been on a number of occasions and never been disappointed. Large portions hence some people feel its pricey before visiting but usually return so can't be that bad. Thoroughly recommend the "Wappy".
