Lee Garden – BeverleyHaving recently tried the TGI Fridays in Sheffield Damon? won any competition hands down. TGI`s were slow off the mark, seemed disorganised and the food was not upto everyone? expectations, from the 12 of us attending. 1hr to wait for you food is a little excessive. where as Damon? every time I have been in beighton the staff have been efficient, timely with their food and on the ball throughout the evening, the food and service were very good with no pressure. Well done Damon?
Damons – SheffieldAfter hearing that Shimla Spice is extending there restaurant to Shipley, and the famous Chico from the x factor would be opening there second branch for them in mid October, i was shock and had to see what is so special about the place. Yesterday evening i went to SHIMLA SPICE and i was shocked to see how busy they were. After eating at Shimla Spice i know why people are always on about it. The food was phenomenal the service was great and the atmosphere was electrifying. I am looking forward for there branch in Shipley. THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF AT SHIMLA SPICE.
Shimla Spice Restaurant – Keighleyi was very impressed the moment i walked through the door with a warm welcome from everyone stood at the bar. the food was absolutely spot on and the cost was brilliant will be back for a drink with the locals as i was made to feel like one of the regulars thank you to the olde bridge inn and all its regulars
Olde Bridge, The – BarnsleyWheatlands Farm is a great place for families. The food and drink is good value and the service is very friendly towards children. I go to this pub frequently with the kids and they love the Wacky Warehouse part.
Wheatlands Farm Wacky Warehouse – RedcarA tiny but very popular cafe, close to the centre of Ilkley. David and Sam work wonders in such a small space, with a varied and changing menu that includes choices for vegetarians, with generous helpings of good quality food. There is a tempting menu of delicious puddings, to finish off with. There are no bookings, and you have to get in early to get a table.
Wells Cafe & Bistro – IlkleyThe fish and chips were the best I have ever had. Chips were lovely and dry, no grease at all. I had the lightly battered plaice which was exceptional. The service was attentive, I would definitely return to this restaurant.
Graveleys Of Harrogate – HarrogateAn excellent meal, great service, attentive without being too keen. The perfect evening of great food, wonderful service, polite staff and amazing value. Would happily pay at least double for any city centre restaurant
Zachary’s At Fulneck – PudseyIt's rare that you feel totally comfortable and at ease, but I certainly felt so at The delvers. The food is honest to goodness home cooking and I love it!!!!!!
Delvers Inn, The – HalifaxAhh Omars. One of the first place freshers in Bradford will go to. Their student deals make them ridiculously cheap and the "largest naan in Yorkshire" claim is no lie. The food is fairly average fair but still tasty and the accompaniment of a giant garlic naan just makes the meal that little bit more special. No alcohol licence but they don't seem to mind you bringing your own. The place is always crowded with students and the TV usually plays bollywood which can be rather distracting but good fun none the less. There's better curry to be had in bradford, but certainly no better student atmosphere.
Omars – BradfordFor a truly unique Indian curry try Omar Kahns. Their menu not only includes the traditional balti house fare but also includes a comprehensive selection of house specials and new creations which are simply to die for. The staff are friendly and efficient. It can get pretty crowded but there is a couch area to sit and wait for a table. Get in early to beat the rush and give the pomegranate curry a try.
Omar Khans – BradfordA gem to be discovered. Drum and Monkey is outstanding. Having eaten in many fish restaurants in London this beats them all. The scallops in gruyere are a feast and fish pie a must. The new refurbishment make the place classy and cosy. Ignore the rumours that getting in is impossible. Last minuters can be squeezed in by the friendly staff.
Drum and Monkey – HarrogateAbsolutely fantastic restaurant in Keighley. serving truly amazing food, enough said!!! now go and try it to believe it !!!
Shimla Spice Restaurant – KeighleyAs an almost weekly visitor to Shimla spice we have had several meals at this particular outlet and have enjoyed it every time. Excellent menu (a huge selection of delicious, mouth watering dishes), well prepared and served, and cheaper than the other local restaurant
Shimla Spice Restaurant – KeighleyGood food, nice surroundings, excellent atmosphere, reasonable price. All in all an excellent evening which I will recommend to friends. No one compares to shimla spice's food JUST THE BEST
Shimla Spice Restaurant – Keighleypopped into the place on the off chance. and was well worth it. They offer a great variance of classic pub grub and something more exotic (the beef burrito is lovely). Will definitely go back. highly recommended.
Mainbrace, The – HullOne of three fine Italian Restaurants in Wakefield. The other two being Bella Roma and Rinaldis. Fab food, great atmosphere. Superb place just to wile away the evening with friends whilst enjoying the wine list!!! Keep it up!!
Valentinos Italian Restaurant – WakefieldUnfortunately, the Blue Bell Inn, Old Ellerby do not serve food - I wish it would, as it is a delightful place, very quaint, with a terrific atmosphere, and the perfect place to go to unwind, with real ales on tap. Their jazz nights every alternate Thursday are great ... just wish you could get something to eat (I would then be in heaven).
