Although the restaurant was fairly quiet (for a Monday), the whole package was pretty decent ! I recommend the Fillet Steak with Brandy/Pepper sauce - that was Outstanding !!

This is a regular stop for us whenever we visit Scarborough. Situated on the sea front with large parasols, palm trees and an outdoor dining area you could kid yourself you were holidaying abroad! Upstairs the large windows give a great view out to sea and as you eat your meal you can watch the sun set and the boats bobbing on the sea. Great for family dining or in the evening fabulous for a romantic meal. Reasonably priced and beautiful food. You get alot of food for your money and particularly recommend the pasta in chicken and mushroom sauce (can't remember the Italian name for this!). Beautiful pizza's freshly made and if you eat downstairs you can watch your meal being cooked which my son enjoyed. Service has always been fantastic, friendly and happy to help, courteous and concerned that everything is ok. Definitely recommend 'ASK' next time you are in Scarborough......we absolutely love it and it helps make our short breaks memorable.

Super food at great prices. Bringing your own wine/beer helps keep the prices down too. Good size portions. Very relaxed atmosphere but buzzing with conversation. Recommending it to everyone I know!

Simply the best restaurant in Leeds. I have burnt my pocket in many an acclaimed eatery, and gone away thinking it was just average. Chaophraya's food is delicious and exquisitely presented. But where they stand head and shoulders above is the service. Top drawer standard from genuinely nice staff. No pretentiousness or hidden agenda. We look forward to returning. Highly Recommended.

I often read the reviews of the Thai restaurants in Oakwood and chapel Allerton. Don? agree with the comments regarding the Thai Erawan from a customer of the Sukhothai as i have tried both weekly, both are lovely, can? fault the Erawan for food, service, and value sometimes a little quiet don? expect that for too long, one good thing always possible to get a table and not rushed out (unlike the other Thai restaurant)

Went for Saturday lunch and were the only ones in the place! This resulted in a lack of ambience, but great service. All food and drink is vegan (i.e. not even milk in coffee) which may put off those less devote. Food itself very tasty and great for vegetarians to have the choice of everything on the menu.

we have been going to the agra 3 in blyth worksop ever since it opened and to be honest i have never had anything wrong with our meal, takeaway or eaten in the restaurant. the staff are pleasant the restaurant is very cosy, and the food is out of this world!!! i would definitely recommend this place for a night out!!!

Have used for the last 2/3 years and would never contemplate using anywhere else..always made to feel welcome on arrival, during the meal and afterwards.

Visited on Friday for some reason not so busy, strange considering the superb food, service, presentation. food and quantity faultless, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and very clean overall a great evening, perhaps the warm weather makes Oakwood restaurants quiet as they don? have a nice wine bar maybe the future, anyway would i recommend the Erawan absolutely give it a try (if you enjoy great, healthy food with top notch service) xx nikki

We love Sukhothai. They provide the tastiest Thai food around Leeds in elegant surroundings and with courteous smiling service. I have tried the other Thai in Oakwood but found it most disappointing. Guess I am a Sukhothai loyalist, but there is really no where better to experience really good Thai food in a great atmosphere. Jan and Ian

Read some of your comments on this site passed the Erawan and not disappointed. Soups superb, lemon grass, lime leaves and galanga lovely, Chinese and Indian cant hold a torch to this delicious food, sorry im converted to Thai now. The Erawan is a wonderful restaurant food ,service 10/10 nice friendly family run restaurant a little quiet when we visited but sure to get better, a nice Malaysian/ Burmese family joined as we nearly finished ,very well taken care off must be regulars( nice) good work one and all will be seeing you soon

Stumbled across ROYALTY on Otley Chevin, this pub was buzzing to say it? off the beaten track. Serving traditional food at reasonable prices open lunch and evening 12-2.30 and 5.30-9pm and all day through the summer holidays I had the steak and ale pie which was the best I have ever had, big portions. Definitely go back for more excellent vibrant pub lovely setting.

Again and again the Erawan comes up trumps, we travel from Wakefield (sometimes after work) the one in Wakefield isn? that good, Oakwood and Chapel Allerton are easily the best, the one in Chapel Allerton is good but we prefer the Erawan as we have been 5 times now since opening and are treated like friends and family, food, service, presentation really can? find a fault, thank you very much. Once you have tried this marvellous restaurant, you will certainly look forward to your next visit!! The food is of high quality, with a very extensive, mouth watering menu (making it impossible to choose!). Service is remarkable, with friendly and helpful staff running this family restaurant. What more can you ask for?.........

Went there for a friend? 18th Birthday. Good deals on food, the starters were really filling and the mains were excellent.

In a word, the food was SEXUAL. The service was ok but could have been better. Beer had to be in plastic glasses as we were sat outside (apparently it? the law!) My personal opinion is that the pot-washers should be paid more! Overall a good night and I?l definitely come back.

The variety of food on the mezze was excellent - only criticism is that it was all a bit too quick. Would have preferred a bit of time between courses and maybe include a coffee at the end?
