The service in La Besi is the best I have met ever. Daily special offer is really worth value of money.
La Besi Restaurant – Leeds City CentreMy husband and I can not go to York for the weekend without have a meal at the Lime House the food is just to die for, why the chef has not applied for his Michelin stars I don’t know. The best desert you can ever have in your life is the Assiette of Chocolate – A trio of Chocolate if you’re a chocoholic you would love this desert. We are going back again at the beginning of May so please Lime House do not take the Assiette of Chocolate off your menu Thank you
Lime House The – YorkThis is the best Chinese food in Leeds. Forget the usual Cantonese fare served up by every other Chinese restaurant in the city, the food here is fabulous - full of flavour, complex, exciting, delicious. The headwaiter was passionate about the place and the food, and genuinely pleased that we'd enjoyed it so much. The majority of people eating in there were Chinese, which has to be a good sign. The dim sum is unbelievable value. Will be going back to eat there as often as possible.
Red Chilli – Leeds City CentreCosy Italian restaurant. The chef is a master. If you order the Zabaglione for desert, he comes out and makes it in front of you. If you like truffles, then this is the place for you too.
Lanterna Restaurant – ScarboroughI have been to many hotels in my time, but this was something out of this world. The food was exquisite and the level of service was outstanding. The Hotel itself was absolutely fantastic set in lovely grounds. I will most certainly revisit this remarkable hotel again. I do recommend Haleys to anyone who demands the finer things in life. WELL DONE!
Haley’s Hotel and Restaurant – HeadingleyWe have been here many times we are from Huddersfield the journey is well worth it. Menu is take-way prices in my area; drinks are pub prices so none of it breaks the bank. You get plenty of food, if you leave any you can take it home in tubs they provide. The staff are very friendly and eager to please. The disco and dance floor lit like any nightclub finishes the night off,
Blue Sky Cantonese Restaurant – BradfordThe Red Chilli restaurant, next to Millennium Square is in my opinion the best Chinese restaurant in Leeds. The Menu is huge, service is good and the lunch menu that runs between 12 - 2, with 3 courses for 9 pounds is a bargain. Highly recommended.
Red Chilli – Leeds City CentreTry the Parelhada Mix Grilled of Shrimp, Large Prawns with Head on, Sea Scallops, Squid in a Lemon Garlic Sauce, served with Portuguese Fried Potato It is to die for. All the food was outstanding. the bar is also very good.
Oporto – Leeds City CentreWent for the first time on a Saturday evening and the place was full and had a really nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and food was excellent. We couldn't believe when the bill came because the sangria and beer were free. Will definitely be going back very soon!
Dos Amigos – HeadingleyFabulous restaurant, best Thai food I have had in Yorkshire. The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was fantastic - even on a Tuesday! I will be coming back here very often - make sure you book though before you just arrive, as it is very busy.
Chaophraya – Leeds City CentreVery good cafe / restaurant, informal. Just wish the menu would change more often - regular customers soon run out of new things to try!
Roots and Fruits – Leeds City CentreI cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough, the food is lovely, there is plenty of variety, a good deal of authenticity and a good vegetarian selection. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and I can't understand the rating it has for cost. It is cheap for good quality food.
Aagrah Restaurant – Leeds City Centretop notch
Banana Leaf – MiddlesbroughThis place really does have the lot: great food, great service, great atmosphere and great prices.
Sukhothai Restaurant – Chapel Allerton – Chapel Allertonhave visited a couple of Michelin starred restaurants and the box tree is easily within this category. The ambience is romantic and cosy. The staff are attentive without being obtrusive. There was an extensive wine list which could have been daunting but the wine manager was helpful without being patronising Food - I chose the scallops with a creamy sauce which was good but overshadowed by my partners choice of guinea fowl with foie gras and lentils cooked in pork jus which was to die for. Main course I chose the fillet of beef and my partner had veal. Mine was outstanding whilst my partner said his was extremely good. We decided not to have deserts as we were full but these looked delicious. We finished with a desert wine and port which were both fantastic - my partner going for the ?elected port?which turned out to be a 1967 fine port (can? remember the name!) We asked for some petit fours with our wines (we don? like coffee) and the waiter appeared with a wooden box with hand made chocolates from which he gave us a selection. The total cost for two including pre-dinner drinks, wine and port/desert wine was £140. Not cheap but worth every penny and a very special treat. I would definitely go back.
The Box Tree Restaurant – IlkleyEven though I thought the cost was a bit pricey, you get what you pay for. It was the best Asian food I've had. The service was excellent. I would definitely recommend the Orchid to anyone who likes great food and great service.
Orchid Restaurant – HarrogateChaophraya wow what a place never have i seen good food, good service and a great atmosphere all in one place this is my first choice restaurant and can not wait to go again highly recommended
Chaophraya – Leeds City CentreStupidly overpriced lunch menu (£7 for a burger with no fries or salad!) but reasonable Sunday lunch (they tend to only do beef rather than giving the choice of beef of chicken though) and a nice atmosphere following extensive refurbishment in 2004.
