Bad experience. The worst of my life. Couldn’t sleep because of the rumors of the pigeons out of my window (a lot of pigeons. All the night). The bathroom very bad. Also the room. I’ll never return.

Lovely lunch with a varied choice on the set menu. Staff are very nice and attentive. One wee thing, maybe the aircon could be less fierce. It was a bit uncomfortable. Never occurred to ask to turn down but a lovely staff member who I mentioned it too said if I had said she would have sorted it. Definitely recommend

Enjoyed evening meal on Sunday with friends before trip to Kings Theatre. Very relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff seen to our every need. Meals and cocktails served were delicious, will book again next time in town.

Food was excellent. However a little bit of training for staff serving the tables would not go amiss. We liked the music but felt that it was a little bit loud.

Me and my wife tried this for the first time for our wedding anniversary. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was very good. I recommend the Bang Bang Chicken starter! I'll definitely get the burger version next time! Great range of cocktails too! Will definitely be back.

I have dined at Ravelston many times and it’s always a pleasant experience with very tasty food.

Visited yesterday for a family meal with some of our Australian family over visiting. Staff and service was fabulous, meals were lovely, we’ll definitely be back. Great value for money. . Thank you Golden Lion staff.

First time I have visited this Restaurant Was very impressed with the welcome we received on arrival by the manager and team Food was amazing great choice of menu starters mains Drinks and cocktails also Great check backs during meal but not too intrusive Will definitely return to this establishment again Very impressed with the premises

Me and my partner recently had food here and it was mixed. The starters were beautiful and so fresh tasting. The main was a little disappointing as my partner ordered a medium rare steak but when it came it was more medium cooked so but not the biggest of deals on my end. My philby cheese steak was lovely but a little too cold for me. The staff were lovely and always coming over to see how we were getting on. Overall it was a good experience and will definitely be coming back.

You had two hearts legends eat at your restaurant today - Jim Jefferies and Billy Brown. We ate local to support local businesses. The food was good and the service very friendly. The young waiter was very happy as he got a photo with Jim & Billy. Thank you for the great service. We will return.

Lovely food and great service

Had a lovely night at Ravelstone - food good in evening - although a couple of veggie choices would have been welcome. However best vegetarian breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Hubby said same about his Meat based breakfast and very nice to see a separate vegan option too. Hard working staff but very friendly and chatty. We would return.

5 of us went for a graduation meal. Service was outstanding couldn’t do enough for you. Food was amazing was so glad we went Cocktails were to die for.
