It was amazing food and incredible service. After looking for a brunch place/ pub that had vegan options I am happy to say that the Bonnington Leith is now our spot. Our server was super kind and attentive and even went out of his way to make me a lovely iced latte! I cannot wait to come back.

Really amazing food and service. Just about tried everything on the menu now. Live local to it so in there all the time. Never been disappointed, would highly recommend. Really cool bar and atmosphere too

Was at your restaurant on Friday, the staff were all lovely myself and my two guests visit different restaurants once a week were not impressed, myself and my mum had the pork dish, my mum could not cut the pork and had to ask for a steak knife to cut the meat, she asked me to do it for her as she could not cut the meat, the kale was very hard to chew, we are all very disappointed with the food also wanted sweet eaton mess got told there was none left

Service excellent food amazing staff friendly would definitely come back although overheard customers complaining about food quality despite having empty plates thought behaviour was disgusting as food must have been absolutely fine obviously I don’t agree with any of that as food and service were fab!

Ordered 2 sirloins, 1 was Ok the other was awful. Extremely fatty. Chips that come with the steak are so greasy they were awful too. They did take the fatty steak off the bill. I also felt there was a musty smell around the place. We were also told we cldnt move table to a booth to be more comfortable. Service plummeted as soon as it got busy. Very disappointing and not value for money at all.

We booked at 5:30 for a meal prior to the theatre. We saw there were slight issues with larger tables but we had an excellent meal and our waitress was superb. I hope we will be back soon.

We had a lovely family dinner for my sons 18th Birthday. Service was exceptional. Very welcoming manager. Food was delicious & great portion sizes. Atmosphere is also great. We can't wait to come here again soon. Thanks for your hospitality.

Overall a very pleasant evening greeted as we entered shown to our table promptly drinks and food was very tasty and time allowed between courses just right .Staff attentive and knowledgeable on what they were serving

Service was not great young lad just couldn't be arsed forgot all about us waited 20 mins on desert served a hot glass straight out the washer for a cold beer ,food could have been hotter .

We booked this lunch weeks ago, there were fifteen of us, having just been at a family internment at the local cemetery. We arrived a bit early but once we had settled down, we were handed out menus. When we were asked what we wanted , it appeared that neither steak pie nor chicken supreme were available, despite being on the menu, so those who had ordered it had to make do with fish and chips. Surely that should have been checked before the menus were handed out? One of our guests ordered a chicken burger without the bun but apparently the chicken was stringy and not at all tasty. However, she ate it as she did not want to make a fuss considering we had just been at an emotional service at the cemetery.

Absolute let down of a meal. Service wasn’t the best drinks were wrong to start, The chips were like they had been ordered from a chip shop far to greasy. Quality of food overall pretty poor won’t be back.
