Giulianos On The Shore is the best Italian restaurant in Edinburgh, in fact anywhere. The staff are professional, polite, and friendly. The food is wonderful. Once you have eaten at Giulianos on the Shore, no other Italian restaurant compares.

best in glasgow, bar none! when it comes to food these guys know what they are doing. the starter was just about right in portion control, and the main course was really tasty with a smooth texture and crispy nan. there is also the south indian chilli chicken, which has been the best ive tried so far, and they also have a good selection of drinks.also the interior is top notch matched by the image in classy white outside. to top off, there is a relaxed-comfortable atmosphere, and also has a touch of warmth. it was more than a meal, it was an experience. you really need to go.....thanks Shimla Pinks!

We ate nothing but tapas and loved every dish. In addition to the 'normal' tapas served everywhere, they also had more unusual dishes. Having enjoyed the real thing many times in Spain, it was a pleasure to find a place where the tapas was fresh, tasty and inspired. Service was attentive but not pushy and the atmosphere was a warm Spanish theme. Will definitely go again!

My friend and I agree that this meal outshone pretty much every other Iv experienced eating out this year. Beautiful delicate tempura. All dishes cooked perfectly. Will definitely return!!

Great food, excellent service. Every bit as good as the Blue Elephant.

Thai Lemon Grass Restaurant – Glasgow
Davsar

Clean, well run, extremely good value for money. If you are an experienced taster you will find plenty to tempt your palate. Novice - you will love trying all the different dishes. Extremely good value, attentive staff (without being too overwhelming) and tasteful surroundings. Have been several times - lunchtime as well as evening - always the same. Highly recommended for a budget, buffet style Indian meal.

Bombay Blues – Glasgow
Cony

The best restaurant in Glasgow by far. The food is absolutely delicious. The best thing about the Loon Fung is yum cha/dim sum. Yum cha basically means drink tea and dim sum, roughly translated, means little piece of the heart(or something like that). It is best to go for this meal early (especially on Sunday, when a lot of Chinese people go). Order a pot of tea and ask to see the dim sum menu. Then order one (or more) of each item until you are stuffed. The dishes are the most delicious you will ever taste.

We went to the restaurant with much anticipation, based on a recommendation and its advertisement of its strong Scottish heritage for fine food. The food was in the main good, we had Langoustines for a starter (they didn't smell too fresh, though after some investigation by our Waitress she assured us that they were o.k.), followed by Swordfish with a chilli, and Halibut on a Goat Cheese mash. All of this, accompanied by a tasty French Sauvignon Blanc served by the glass. The fish was cooked to perfection. For sweet we had the baked Alaska, which was fine, but not outstanding. The Bread served with the meal was truly appalling it looked like brown sliced from Tesco’s. Not what we expected for a meal that came to over £60.00.

City Merchant – Glasgow

This is probably the best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. The food was first class, and and service vey good. A bit pricey, but worth every penny when the food arrives and you taste the quality. Certainly will be back.

Ho Wong – Glasgow
