Four of us enjoyed a lovely, relaxed lunch on a Friday afternoon. Two of us arrived in muddy boots and were welcomed in. We weren't rushed at all to place our order nor to eat our meals. Staff were happy to let us chat and relax as long as we liked. The food was delicious. The décor is beautiful. The ambience is very relaxed. Will highly recommend and will be back.

The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingAlthough on arrival the restaurant was very busy the staff were lovely and showing us to our table which we had reserved. Our server explained that due to a large party arriving just before us we may have a little wait before our food would be ready which was fine but,she would happily take our drinks order. Food arrived around 30-40mins later piping hot and well presented. I myself had chicken enchiladas which were extremely tasty while others had steak pie, balmoral chicken and sweet chilli chicken and everyone enjoyed there meal. Staff were very attentive checking food was to our liking and offering refills for drinks throughout service

The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingFood and service were both amazing! It was a busy Saturday dinner service but didn't wait long on food. Staff were very attentive. Only downside was they had run out of 4 items off the menu which left the menu restricted however the food we ordered was amazing.

No one came near us again and we had to look for some one to take an order for coffee and again when we were paying the bill..
