Best meals we had on Orkney Mainland! Lighter than usual english/scottish cuisine. Incredible mellow, succulent beef, delicious fish, just to the point and desserts not too big.

Had a lovely steak dinner here. King prawn brucheta to start was amazing and the 10oz ribeye was delicious. Service was excellent

Had a fabulous meal last Friday night - there were 3 of us . All had starters and mains. Only 1 had dessert. The meal was absolutely gorgeous and I would definitely recommend Steak and Cherry. Staff were attentive. Overall really fabulous.

We went to S&C for dinner before a show at the Kings. We were a party of 7, including two kids. Dinner was superb and the staff were friendly. Clean plates all round! Highly recommend!

Had a fantastic meal with my wife. Small ribeye steak, surf and Turf. A few beers for me and a cocktail for Ann. Very good value for money considering we were on sauchiehall street. Then went next door to the garages to a gig. Thank you.

Recently had lunch with family and family visiting from Canada. There were 10 of us. The lunch was lovely, the service was great and we had a lot of laughs. Thanks so much for making it a good day out.

Lucky enough to be recommended this restaurant in Stromness by a colleague. Excellent high quality food with friendly service. Three course meal without wine for two people came to just over £100. Great value considering the high quality cuisine. Need to book in advance as very popular but well worth the effort!

Beautiful food, traditional, local fish and meet but prepared with subtle Asian touches that gives every dish a fresh and bright experience. Friendly knowledgeable front of house staff. We’ll be back!

Great location Friendly and helpful staff For dinner I had the seaboard which I felt was a underwhelming and being the most expensive dish on the menu (excluding steak) I expected more food and the batter that coated the haddock was soggy. The other guys that I was traveling with had steak pie and chicken which they enjoyed. Breakfast was bang on! Room was basic but clean and did the job! Considering the location and what is included for the price this place is excellent value for money and would definitely use again.
