First time back in this pub for many years…. And WOW it’s so elegantly decorated… my family and I went for Mothers Day and throughly enjoyed our meal… Looking forward to visiting again to try more off the menu Can highly recommend

This is the second time we have been beautiful place amazing food and lovely friendly staff could not faulty it would definitely recommend

10 of us went for a birthday meal on 12/3/26 and had a variety of starters from garlic mushrooms, soup, onion rings and mains of mixed grill, steak, pasta dish, steak pie - we covered a lot of different dishes off the menu. The food was beautiful and hardly anything left on the plates! Desserts were also very good. Service of both food and drinks was excellent in a lovely atmosphere An overall excellent experience ***** highly recommended

The service was acceptable at the beginning, and the food initially tasted pleasant. However, the experience deteriorated significantly when we discovered hairs in one of our meals. This was extremely off‑putting and left both of us feeling unwell. Despite the severity of the issue, only the affected meal was refunded, which was disappointing and did not reflect the level of concern one would expect in such circumstances. Additionally, it was concerning to observe that staff were not wearing hair nets or beard nets, and one server’s uniform appeared in need of cleaning. Given these hygiene concerns and the inadequate response to the situation, I cannot recommend this establishment.

The best Sunday roast we have had in a very long time, very friendly staff and nothing too much trouble, lovely selection of vegetables and plenty of food, will definitely be returning and would also like to try the the weekday menu

We were at the Rivers Edge on Sun 8th Mar for a very special birthday meal. All 10 of us had a wonderful experience, the food and service was exceptional. A very pleasant place with plenty of space with excellent decor. All the staff were very helpful and friendly with exceptional service. The children's play area outside was an added bonus.

Food and service excellent

Excellent food, service and value for money. We stayed on site for two nights so decided to try the food. We can highly recommend the cauliflower steak, duo of lamb, pork belly and garlic chicken. The staff are fabulous and everyone in the pub made our dog feel welcome too. We also had breakfast on Saturday morning and that was fantastic as well - fresh, delicious and good value with quality ingredients. A good choice for both breakfast and evening meals. We hope to be back soon. Thank you!

Lovely Sunday dinner. Vegetarian Glamorgan sausages and nut roast delicious. Friends very happy with their beef too. Friendly staff.

We were welcomed like we were regulars when it was our first time . Certainly not our last. Our food was beautiful. We went for the sharing meats . We had Sunday lunch. I had put it was my birthday on my booking. All staff wished me happy birthday, sat us in a lovely booth! Has a lovely sitting area outside with plenty of picnic benches and a small park for young children. Perfect for when the weather is nice .

Our first visit to this lovely restaurant having found out recently our favourite chef (Jon) was working here. Sunday lunch was absolutely stunning, staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you, thank you. We can’t wait to return soon.

Best Sunday dinner we had it’s that good we have been for the last 5 weeks. Fabulous atmosphere staff and service are excellent I highly highly recommend you will not be disappointed.it would be a 11 out of 10 for us.

Fantastic, we had a lovely evening, superb food and the staff couldn't have looked after us better. I have allergies and they went above and beyond to accommodate. Recommended and will definitely go again.
