The new owners have transformed this pub. We have dined here several times, since they took over, and the food is exceptional - by far the best food in the area. Fantastic value too!!

Griffins Head Bar and Grill – AccringtonI started visiting the Copper Kettle with my mum after knowing my Dad use to go when he maybe 30/40 years ago.I now go regularly and each time I go it is perfect.. The food is fresh and the owners grow some of their own produce. Food served at the Copper Kettle is hard to find these days, everything is cooked fresh when you order it. On top of all that it is also good value for money. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming..The atmosphere is so cosy you do not want to end up leaving!!
Copper Kettle – AccringtonService bad, food not good, staff not professional.
The Walton Arms – AccringtonThis place is a hidden gem, the new owners have given it a culinary lease of life, the chef comes from the team of Nigel Howarth of Northcote
Griffins Head Bar and Grill – AccringtonMy sister and I had lunch on the 16/11/2011 and they had a lunch time special for £3.95, between 12 - 3pm mon - Sat.The choice was a list of about 10 dinners, I opted for fish and chips with homemade batter and chips.I was really impresses the fish was lovely the same fish would have cost between £8.00 and £13.00 in other places I have eaten at.it as really tasty my sister had the liver and onions and she enjoyed it. If you want a home cooked meal for less than a fiver get down to the Hare and Hounds! they had other offers on 2 meals for a tenner and the have a Xmas special on 3 courses for £9.99. I certainly will be going back.
Hare and Hounds – AccringtonI've been to Jade Gardens twice and i have found the staff very friendly and the food delicious. The food isn't as fatty as most Chinese restaurants and the food is fast to come to the table. The menu is fairly cheap and not too expensive. There is also a bar which is good too for pre- drinks before your meal.
Jade Gardens – Accringtonnot good at all food awful service not good chicken not fresh garlic bread was not fresh.made early and frozen i think .don't waste your money I've had better pub food
Monte Cristo – Accringtonwe went here on a wed night and it wasn't the best poor service left for ages and nobody came over to see if everything was ok which it was not it was full for a wed night and we where squeezed in the service was slow.i ordered steak which is one of the worst i have had very thin and very very fatty and could not get anyone to tell them so payed and went we never go back
Francos – Accringtonwould recommend the theme nights the Greek night was authentic, lively and great fun .we all loved the moussaka ,and cant wait for the Micheal buble night.
Monte Cristo – AccringtonOn the 8th July 2011 myself and 3 other adults and two children went to the Sparth Manor - The building itself is lovely, and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and has kept many of its original features. The hosts where very friendly and helpful. - Great evening. Great food, Great Hospitality. A hidden gem - worth a visit
Sparth Manor – AccringtonThe food was lovely and the atmosphere was buzzing really enjoyed it would defo go again
Francos – Accringtonregular visitors lovely food staff excellent very friendly and cosy. Love it.
Royalty Phoenix – Accringtoncelebrated my 18th here with my family and thought it was fantastic the best Italian in lancashire for sure. would definitely dine here again
Francos – Accringtonwould recommend monte cristo, the food, wine and service is absolutely fabulous, i have been a few times now and never had a bad meal or service. :)
Monte Cristo – AccringtonWent at 4pm on a Sunday for the buffet. I was looking forward to it but i came away very disappointed. I hardly ate anything. The starters were cold and soggy and the naan bread soggy. The currys were average but not worth the £10 price tag of the buffet which says a lot. Would not go again!
Spice Room – Accrington8 out of 10/ Service good, a little slow, took ten minutes to take order, chips frozen but ok, steak cooked beautifully and sauce good , garlic bread and tomato was extra special - tomatoes roasted for the topping taking away the sometimes over "tomatoey" taste so to speak , price reasonable and quite nice surroundings , one down side very poor seating / old chairs some of the high back faux leather seats would take this from pub to restaurant and add a little panache to this nice little eatery.
Monte Cristo – AccringtonPleasant and warm surroundings. Dropped in for a pot of tea and scone and received a lovely welcome from the owner who has owned the business with her mother for over 50 years.
Copper Kettle – Accringtonwe recently visited this establishment for a birthday party. we booked the table for 8pm and did not sit down at our table until 910 pm, whilst may I add it was still being set. There were 9 in our party and they sat 8 of us at the table and the 9th member had to sit on the next table all be it attached but they could not join in any proper conversation. They then brought the plates which were cold and started to dish, they were informed that a steak and chips was missing and also a single portion of chips, also one meal came cold and was returned to kitchen. It was quite evident that they could not cope wit the great numbers of customers they were receiving that night I would not recommend anyone visit this restaurant for a meal in the near future, oh and to add, the member of our party was given her meal in a box to take away steak chips and 5 peas ...lol
