Love the new restaurant & the decor. The food was fabulous and the portions were really generous, we had to take some home which we had for lunch the next day! Excellent value for money and the staff were great & super friendly.

Booked 2 weeks in advance & received instant confirmation email including another the day before. Upon arrival told there was no booking, & if we wanted to eat we would have to be quick as the table was required for another party. I showed the email confirmation but was told it didn't matter we still only had the table for a short period of time, I found the staff member quite rude. Judging by other reviews their is obviously an issue between the online booking system & this restaurant. The staff member said my online booking reservation didn't matter as he had not had a phone call, I presume the phone call should have come from the central booking office maybe Duke St?, as my email did not state a phone call confirmation was required from myself. Aside from this initial disappointment the food portions are large considering we ate from the early bird menu, and the food was good quality though the order the kids meals came out were not as we asked, probably due to the time restraints put upon us, also we had to ask twice for items that didn't arrive. Overall we were very disappointed.

We have been to all of the Christakis restaurants over the past 20 years and we were certainly not disappointed with the new restaurant in Aigburth. We had the meze and everything on it was gorgeous, huge portions and excellent service. Loved that you can see the meat being cooked on the open grill and the cocktails are amazing. They made our anniversary meal really special staff are great. Already booked to go back next week best Greek restaurant/food in Liverpool

Booked a table in advance but had no table on arrival. No social distancing as all tables occupied, advertised as Greek dancing on Friday and Saturday but there was no Greek dancing. Starters nice dips really nice but main courses not good. Kleftiko NOT Kleftiko, Sea bass nice but not seasoned. Not really in a hurry to go back.

Great meal out with the family. The service was brilliant, everyone was smiling and we were made to feel very welcome. The food was fabulous, the Greek salad was the best I’ve had, and we all commented on how nice our meals were and the very generous portions. Will definitely be visiting again.

We had a wonderful meal. We chose the Mezes which was a huge banquet with plenty to take home after. Service was great and waiters couldn't have been friendlier.

Have dined at Duke Street venue many times but this was first visit to the new Aigburth restaurant. Wasn’t disappointed at all ! Food delicious, service fantastic ,staff extremely polite and attentive and a great atmosphere. Early eve menu unbelievably good value. Will be returning very soon.

Decided to give it ago last Sunday and boy was I not disappointed, one of the best garlic mushrooms ever and the main (Kleftiko) was tender, juicy and huge, staff friendly and service excellent definately a 10/10

Very disappointing that kalimari was not included on the early evening menu! Also no side salad included with the main meal. Felt intimidated on arrival when questioned if we had booked a table. May decide to go into town next time we consider visiting this branch.

Fantastic food and excellent service! Such value for money too. The place has had a nice refurb and will be returning soon.
