Living locally, I have been to marantos many times, the service is great the waiters are friendly, though the quality of food has deteriorated recently. Disappointing! I do hope they read their reviews and take note.

This is a really nice chilled out place to eat or drink. It also does a good quality breakfast on Sundays. Best of all, I had my birthday party there recently and they provided a fantastic buffet for my 30 guests. "Best buffet I've ever had" was one comment. Great service and great value.

I think this is the best value restaurant on Lark Lane at the moment. Myself and my boyfriend ate there last week, they squeezed us in although we hadn't booked, the service was great, friendly but not in your face. The menu offers some familiar and not so familiar choices, it's not a huge choice but I think that means they know what they're doing with the ones they do have. There are 2 vegetarian choices on the main meals, and loads of starters you can order as a main as I did, they were fine with that and brought them at the same time as Mr Charlytune's mixed grill. That and a bottle of nice white wine came to £35 for the two of us. We left very happy and feeling like we were on holiday. Highly recommended.

Since the refurbishment the service in the restaurant has declined rapidly. On a recent visit, my partner and I were made to wait over two hours for our main course to be served as our order had been lost, I spoke to the manager about this matter and was told that it was my fault as I was in a mood!

Dined at Esteban again last night. It was really busy with it being the same day as the Grand national but we only had to wait 10 minutes for our pre booked table. Each tapas dish was lovely (especially the serranitos) and the service was excellent. They waited just the right amount of time to take our plates, ask if we wanted the dessert menu etc. Will be back!

Thee best Indian restaurant in Liverpool. I have been coming to this place for years and have tried other Indian restaurants but this is the best. SERVICE, QUALITY, FRIENDLY AND TASTE OF FOOD IS THE BEST. Its great they still give you free chutney and popodams. My favourite main dish is chicken goa or chicken chilli masalla

If you want a massive breakfast that's fairly cheap (and nice!) this is the place to come.

Fantastic food and great service at a really low price.. It really is difficult to find anywhere else in Liverpool to match up to this place... Keep up the good work..

GREAT food - a hidden gem! I suspect the reason I'm the first to write is to keep it a secret.

"I can honestly say it was the best meal I have ever eaten in Liverpool and I have been living here for 6 years!"

Quite simply this place is a gem and the most authentic true thai restaurant in Liverpool. Friendly efficient service, fantastic fresh aromas and flavours and a good selection of reasonably priced wines to boot. Fish cakes and sea bass did it for me!

Last Friday was my second visit with the same group of friends. The atmosphere is welcoming, friendly, yet unobtrusive. It is relaxing & unhurried. The service is individual, efficient & helpful. The dishes are tasty, varied & full of flavour. My special compliments go to Richard, who has become a mature, accomplished & delightful young man!

My family and i have regularly dined in Que Pasa over the last year or so.With the exception of a few minor hiccups,we were pretty pleased with the overall experience. However,on the last 2-3 visits,we were shocked by the decline in the quality of the service, and the overall ambiance and cleanliness of the restaurant. It is disappointing as the quality of the food is of a high standard, and it is clear that a great deal of time and effort has went into every dish.Unfortunately, like so many restaurants on the Lark Lane strip,Que Pasa feels that it would benefit more from a pub atmosphere.Upon entering the "restaurant",one cannot help but be overwhelmed by the congregation of people at the door. And although the smoking ban has helped to alleviate ones sense of claustrophobia, the scramble to be noticed would deter anyone from entering.

We were informed that there was and never has been a childrens or 'Little Gringos' menu and there was no possibility of a smaller sized portion for our 9 year old. This was disappointing and in fact we thought the starters were generous but the main course portion sizes were small for the price so we could have been advised on a suitable combination. No drinks service was forthcoming so we had to fetch our own from the bar. Also after making a choice from the tequila menu we were told they only had 2 types in, one of which wasn't on the menu. However the food itself was lovely and the ambiance great even on a Monday night. We had a nice time for a birthday meal but felt that there could be more flexibility for kids/lighter eaters.
