We eat at Belluno at least once a month. As such, we had not experienced their new menu, revised last month. I will say it as I see it. All in all the food is always excellent but I will provide one small comment on this visit. Their 'home cut chips' are ok but not worth £4.95 for the bowl full, they are not that amazing very honest, especially when you need to order all sides with a steak additionally. As for the steak itself - twas ok but I like to get something really tasty when I am out for the money. I cook a pretty mean one at home and it would beat this no problem. Not a criticism, just an honest observation. The meat was ok but nothing amazing. I have never ordered a steak before after many many visits and likely will not again anytime soon. Otherwise - all top notch and always served with the smile. Our waitress was a delight, exceptional attention to detail and actually the reason I wrote this review and to hope she is told what a great job she did. Keep it up team - see you soon.

A lovely restaurant, with very nice staff and excellent service. Food is excellent too!

We had an excellent evening at Belluno. We were served by Abi who was friendly and efficient. The cocktails, food and wine were all delicious. The atmosphere was buzzing, felt I was in Italy ! The bonus for me was that in my opinion we had the best table in the restaurant. Neither one of us had to face a wall ! Can't wait to visit again

The atmosphere and staff attention was excellent. We also benefited from the cocktail special offer available up to 7pm. We shared a starter of bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar which was exceptional high quality. The main courses were 2 different dishes. The meat balls etc were so tasty but the Caesar salad was a big let down as the chicken was really tough both to cut and especially to chew. A great shame where attention to detail on the overall dining experience was quite exceptional.

Excellent service! We were able to amend our booking with ease and we were welcomed with a warm smile. The staff at Belluno go above and beyond even offering 2 for £10 cocktails outside of the allocated slot! Will be returning!

Where do I start… down visiting friends in Axminster and was told this place was good to eat, food is an understatement, service, food, atmosphere was all 10/10, some of the best food I’ve eaten in years at a restaurant, pasta was incredible, pizzas were amazing and the steak was UNBELIEVABLE, would highly recommend this place, absolutely first class!! 4 of us ate, with main meals, desert and drinks, very good value also… if you’ve not been, book… you won’t be disappointed

We had a very enjoyable time, the food and service were good The only suggestion is that I would make is that the . Grigliata di Pesce 23.50 should have a green vegetable with it, also that there should be a bit more of the pickled courgette. It was delicious, but just a bit unbalanced .

I had a wonderful Saturday lunch at Beluna Italian in Axminster. The staff were friendly and the service was without fault. I had the prawn and crab linguine which was absolutely superb. This restaurant is a real credit to the town.

A lovely setting. A brilliant atmosphere. Staff very happy and attentive. Nothing seems too much trouble for them. The food is very good tasty and plenty of it. Thank you. I will be back.

The only downside was there was a large family group, probably 20 plus, who dominated the restaurant & impacted on the level of service we received, I felt. I am sure on any other night this wouldn't be an issue & I definitely recommend the restaurant and happily visit again if I am in the area.

First visit to Belluno Italian and it won't be our last. Food was definitely worth waiting for as it is all freshly cooked to order. Will be back soon to try more off the varied menu,

Enjoyed a lovely meal with my family on Saturday. Food was delicious and service was great.

Customer service excellent, atmosphere welcoming, environment clean and tidy and food was perfect. Fish stew and chicken we ordered. For softails we had zest fest, refreshing it was. Will recommend to friends on holiday in this area. We were celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary and they were patient to take a few photos of us when we requested.

Visited for the first time last Saturday as we were staying in the area. Was looking for something special to celebrate my mum's 81st birthday. The food was so delicious and the staff went above and beyond to make this a memorable occasion. The whole restaurant were singing happy birthday to her. If you're looking for great food, amazing atmosphere and friendly staff then this is most definitely the place to visit. We will be back in August when we are next in the area.

Yummy food including seafood linguine and pizzas made by a Napolitano. Lovely staff - efficient, accommodating, cheerful.
