What a Fab place for a Meal & few beers 10 of us really enjoyed our recent visit there everything was spoton deffo reccomend a visit Big Thanks too all that made us feel very welcomed.

Another lovely meal at the Apple Inn. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, always an excellent meal, friendly helpful staff. Dog friendly too.

The friendliness of the staff and quality of food was great, and I would definitely recommend a visit to this establishment.

Took our puppy Moss here for his first restaurant experience. Asked for a table near the door in case things went awry. Have to say the staff were absoluty fantastic with him. Fussed him rotten table right next to the door brilliant. The food and drink as ever was excellent never had a bad meal here ever. Main thing this time is to praise all the staff who looked after Moss. Thanks to all of you

Booked while we were staying in the area on holiday. Food and service were both first class - portion sizes were generous so unfortunately we couldn’t manage dessert. Staff also recognised my husband’s 30th birthday which was a lovely touch. Highly recommended and look forward to hopefully returning soon.

Place is lovely and personal. Waited a little while for food but that was ok.. My husband got the fish and chips small fish it was more like a battered fish finger. I got the Sunday lunch it was tasty but could of been slightly more of it. Staff were lovely abs very helpful but it was freezing in the resturant we sat with our coats on till food came. Value for money mmm ok I have had better for a cheaper price.

Lovely pub with great staff all very friendly. Love that it’s dog friendly and the food is wonderful a very welcoming feeling when you are there

I booked a meal for 4 people for my husband's birthday while on holiday. I booked via email only an hour before stating it was for his birthday. When we arrived, the table was set up with a "Happy Birthday" banner, the meals and desserts were all excellent and beautifully presented. The staff were attentive and polite, all-round an excellent experience and would definitely visit again if ever in the area.

We had an amazing meal at The Apple Inn; the food, drinks & service were all outstanding. My husband said it was the best gluten free fish & chips he has ever eaten. Thank you!

Excellent food. Disappointed however by service. Staff themselves were great but clearly overworked. It was a Saturday evening and the pub was catering for a large external event opposite, Food and service was slow and late. We should have been warned when booking, or more staff should have been employed (I appreciate a challenge in itself). It’s probably an exceptional event. As stated earlier, the food was excellent , as were the staff, and we would visit again, but would check first of any similar clashes!

Visited for Sunday lunch whilst staying at HPB lucker Full menu available in addition to Sunday Lunch menu Good soup starter and enjoyed lamb roast dinner. Excellent service staff v.attentive Desserts a bit pricey but overall good value!

Absolutely wonderful Sunday lunch - couldn't have been better. We all four really enjoyed everything and cleared our extremely well-filled plates!! Perfectly cooked vegetables. The staff were really good and friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Called at the schoolhouse before we started our long journey home after a lovely week in Beadnell. We had the full English breakfast and I must say it was amazing, even our dog got a sausage. The schoolhouse has a lovely atmosphere and service was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Overall the Sunday lunch was tasty. Service slow, staff friendly . Dessert not good value for money.

Our local while at Orchard Country Park. A Good welcome and a cheery log fire. Good food well served.

We have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. The standards of the food and staff have been well maintained over the years and the decoration and furnishings of the rooms and restaurant look just as good as they did a good few years ago.
