We had a wonderful family brunch at the Old School House for my son’s birthday. The staff went to the trouble of decorating the table for us and couldn’t do enough. The food was delicious (as ever) with great vegetarian options as well as the usual menu. This was our third visit in as many months. I can’t recommend highly enough.

The Apple Inn – BamburghWe booked for dinner on Friday 8th October 21. We have been several times before as we have stayed in Stablewood Cottages several times. As always we were given a very friendly and warm welcome. The food as always was excellent, and nicely presented. There is a very good choice on the menu and several dishes enticed us so making our decision was tricky. The desserts were to die for! It is good value for money too. They are dog friendly and the team are all very keen to say hello to the dogs and make sure we are sat in a comfortable corner so there is plenty of room for the 3 dogs. I specified 3 large dogs on the booking so they were forewarned - dachshunds they are not LOL. Will definitely return. Can't wait for our next holiday in Lucker.
The Apple Inn – BamburghFull English was excellent. A little more expensive than most places but worth the little extra for quality food, good coffee and a smart, clean and comfortable venue. I would highly recommend it. The staff were friendly, pleasant and attentive. Great service.
The School House – BamburghGreat welcome from friendly staff at the Apple Inn. Good choice on the menu and a reasonable selection of gluten-free dishes which is important to us. Food was excellent and service was efficient. Highly recommend the Black Bean Beef in the Bao bun but watch out for the chilli, it’s fierce!! The Trio of Pork was superb as well.
The Apple Inn – BamburghFirst class service food was very good all round . Staff could not have been more helpful. Only comment not complaint the Halibut curry sauce whilst very tasty was rather sparse and the last part of the meal was dry - would have again though !
