We had a lovely meal earlier week. Would recommend the soufflé and the beef strips for starters and I loved my Thai fish main - perfectly cooked fish with subtle flavours. Efficient attentive staff. Booked again for later this week for more soufflé!

Came for a 2-night spa break, and had 3 meals at The School House. Lovely bistro/cafe, great service and food was tasty. Lucker is a nice, quaint village and will absolutely be back!

Staff are fab, very friendly and chatty to me and my 16 year old daughter and her friend. And sooo lovely to the doggy of the family. The food is amazing and we couldn’t wait to return after our first two visits around 12 months ago and certainly weren’t disappointed. My husband was gutted he couldn’t join us this time.

We were in the HPB for a weekend stay & had booked a table for dinner on the Saturday. We visited the bar on three occasions & were welcomed by their friendly staff on each occasion. We arrived for dinner on the Saturday when it was very busy but again a friendly welcome. All Covid rules were in place & we had a lovely meal. Nice to have The Apple Inn on our door step.

Lovely food great service well worth a visit.

Super friendly service, lovely surroundings. Crab sandwich and caesar salad wrap very tasty. Even though there was no pasta on the kids menu, I asked if there was any possibility we could have a pasta dish for our 2 year old granddaughter and they made her a dish of mac and cheese especially for her, thank you, we will definitely return.

We ate at the Apple Inn for 3 nights during our stay in Lucker. Very good choice of food on the menu, especially when you are staying with 2 Gluten free and 1 Vegetarian . Food and service was excellent.

Booked an evening meal for five of us on a Tuesday evening. The Covid precautions that they had in place were excellent, at every point they succeeded in trying to keep everyone safe. The food was absolutely delicious, and all of the staff were lovely, professional and efficient. Keep up the good work and thank you. We will definitely return to the Apple Inn the next time we return to that part of England.

Had breakfast whilst staying at cottage in Lucker. Freashly made and delicious. Please use hot plates to serve breakfast on.Staff very friendly. Covid safe.

Came here on holiday for my husband’s birthday. We were shown to a table in the corner out of the way. Food was lovely but we were not visited after the food was put down -I would have asked for extra gravy. We couldn’t attract anyone’s attention due to the corner positioning. We would have asked for more drinks but again no way of attracting more attention. A shame. We had to go up to the bar to pay the end of our time here as again no one around and no apology. Nice food but somewhat lacking in hospitality.

Lovely pub with really good food. We ate twice there whilst on holiday in Lucker and enjoyed our meals very much.

Enjoyed our evening. Food good, staff friendly and efficient. However everything was rushed. We no sooner finished our starter than the main course turned up. We felt that they would like us to get our dinner and leave ASAP. It was 9.40pm when we did leave.

We had our first meal here on Tuesday 22nd June which was excellent, some have booked to come back on 3 more occasions during our stay at Lucker Hall. Best gastro pub we have been to in a long time

Stayed in the cottages in Lucker and had breakfast here twice. All day breakfast was great! Local produce, well cooked and nice surroundings. Beats cooking your own!

great service from the staff just disappointed with the look and presentation of the mains .Lamb over cooked and very small portions.
