Me and my husband stayed for a two night break and booked a table to eat the first night food was gorgeous staff was friendly

Food was excellent my steak was cooked perfectly atmosphere was warm and friendly will definitely go again

Only good thing about this place was the food! Restaurant was fairly full when we arrived with one empty table behind us. This was then occupied by what appeared to be a group of friends of the staff and their kids…. We were dining with elderly parents and teenager and this groups language was loud and appalling to the point we gave up trying to talk amongst ourselves because we couldn’t hear each other…. every other word from this group was a swear word! Their kids were uncontrollable, trying to climb over the back of our seats and screeching . Then to top it all, a member of their group was openly vaping in the restaurant! Every other diner, along with us, in the restaurant left within 20 minutes of them arriving…. The staff knew they were causing a problem but instead of doing anything about it they were laughing with the group about the noise they were making etc. Would never recommend this place to anyone and will be emailing Robinsons head office

What a beautiful place with delicious food!! The staff were friendly, the atmosphere warm, and the surroundings just perfect. We all loved our meals (family of 4 with a hard to please, fussy 10 year old and a coeliac too!) My only minor disgruntlement (and only because it would’ve been nice to enjoy more of the food here), is that there was limited choice of gluten free options of starters and no gluten free puddings on offer-such a shame as they cater very well for coeliacs in regards to safety-I felt absolutely fine after eating here and I’m a very sensitive coeliac-so they’re clearly doing a fantastic job!!

Highly recommend! Had overnight stay and ate in restaurant , meal was lovely, great atmosphere and service. Breakfast spot on with great service again. All staff from bar staff, waiters and cleaner were so friendly. Beautiful room, clean and with everything we needed! Will definitely go back!

Sunday Roast here is exceptional. We booked a late table & they were very nearly out of roasts. We took the last 5 & I expected the portions to be stretched. Far from it, we all got a generous serving of meat, vegetables & gravy. Flat welsh yorkshire puds made us chuckle. Best roast in a while & appreciated after a days worth of adventures. Service was hard at a busy bar but super fast food service to the table.

We had a Sunday roast and it really was superb. Not just fantastic quality though, the ratio of meat to veg/ potatoes etc was about 40% to 50% of the plate. Absolutely great.

Another great Sunday roast, lovely atmosphere and great staff, value for money

Ate in here on first night of our stay nearby . Enjoyed it so much went back again on our second night. Liked the atmosphere, menu choices, beer and drinks. Service was good and prompt despite being busy on both occasions. Food very good. Booking advisable.

Food arrived nice and hot, the Anglesey burger was very tasty absolute best, with proper chips.

First time eating here after being recommended by the Farmer where we were staying. Very pleasantly surprised, service was good, the food was nicely presented & tasty, the quantity was huge! Overall very satisfied, just slightly disappointed they'd run out of profiteroles, must have been a popular choice that day. Helpful staff.
