Food and service was excellent, glad I booked ahead as the place is really popular

Beautifully decorated pub in a lovely location. Great play area for children and a lovely stream.. Booked for 6, on a Wednesday at midday, Cold welcome from staff, poor service as had to ask for everything we needed, cutlery, small plates to be cleared when mains delivered , sauces etc. Don’t understand why we couldn’t order starters, then mains, just made it inconvenient having to go back and forth for each order. Food was nice, Such a shame as this place could be far nicer with some friendly, attentive staff

Went to the Vic on Sunday evening. Was pretty full and buzzing with people eating and drinking. We were told as soon as arrived that we had only til 7pm to book our food as the kitchen was closing at 7pm!!!! Our booking was for 6.45pm. We had to rush to look at the menu and rush to the bar to order. Why take our booking for that time. The food was really good when it came but spoilt the experience as couldn’t take in the menu properly and may have chosen differently

The meal was excellent all round - even though it was quite busy our food arrived piping hot and in a relatively short time. The food was actually quite a bit better than I was expecting and definitely a cut above your normal pub grub. The staff were polite, friendly and attentive. We each enjoyed our individual meals and didn’t feel rushed out of the door afterwards. Definitely somewhere I would recommend and visit again if we were back in the area.

Lovely Sunday roast, great value for money

Stayed overnight in our Motorhome, Although the pub was very busy our meal arrived very quickly and was delicious and lovely and hot. Would certainly visit again.

Superb staff , lovely surroundings and great food. However, how on earth can you run out of Welsh burgers on a saturday night so early on. All you heard at the bar was sorry we have run out of them. Hopefully its just a one off.

The best Sunday lunch ever!! We have dined at the Victoria several times but this was the first time for Sunday lunch. It was really tasty with plenty of meat and a range of vegetables, all well cooked. We will definitely have Sunday lunch there again.

We are a family of 5 with a large dog . Food was excellent as usual . Fish cakes were really good and would recommend them. Food was out quickly no waiting around. The bar staff and ladies waiting on table were friendly and happy to help . The dog was also given a treat. Very enjoyable experience will book again .

Excellent service food as always piping hot and plenty of it we have had lunch meals many times but Sunday lunch will not disappoint

Had a lovely meal at The Victoria Inn, food was gorgeous, meat so tender. Desserts delicious and presented beautifully!
