Booked on line .Arrived early sat outside for drinks. Inside for food. food and service excellent. Cosy atmosphere, staff always friendly. Sunday lunch awesome and value for money! Dog friendly which is always a bonus!!

Always a lovely relaxed atmosphere and great service. Eat here a lot and my only area for improvement would be a more varied menu as we’ve had everything so many times!

Fantastic pub, great food, brilliant service ! Have a lovely beer garden with great play area for the kids …. Whenever we are in the area we book a meal there ! Book in advance it’s POPULAR

Really enjoyed the meal. I had a Sunday lunch, along with the rest of my family, and the quality was great with plenty of it. The service was prompt, and the staff were all nice. The only (small) gripe I have is that I think the tables in the middle of the dining area are too small for four people. All in all though, we all had a great lunch and I’m looking forward to next year, when I will be staying locally and we will be booking another meal.

Not the best evening meal we have been for. Booked a table in advanced which was fine we were seated quickly but the whole environment was noisy. Food came out quite quickly but wasn’t anything to write home about. It’s a bit like a better quality weather spoons with slightly higher prices.

Lovely staff and surroundings. The food quite bland and average which is a shame as it could be really special. It would be good if there was a wider choice of wines and also local ales would really suit this setting.

Took an hour to deliver tasteless microwaved chilli and chips. Welsh rarebit was cold and inedible . Would not return it ever recommend. Complained but met with shrugged shoulders

Had a lovely lunch outside in the beer garden; 7 of us with with our 3 ‘well behaved’ dogs. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Food tasty and the pub was really well presented. Glad we arrived for midday and ate early as got really busy with families after 1pm.

Great meal! Food was delicious and arrived efficiently despite the pub being busy. Kids meals were a great size and there was plenty of choice. Salt and chilli chips were the best we have eaten!

Great service and lovely food, definitely worth a visit

It was very busy when we arrived, had to wait in a long queue for drinks, then again to find our table…..then again to order our food. Food was ok but really just pub food.

Really enjoyed our visit. Roast Lamb was superb as usual. So was the rhubarb and apple crumble. Complements to the chef. Already looking forward to our next visit. Paul and Sandra Foster.

Myself and my husband had gone away for couple of days and decided to book at The Victoria Inn for Sunday lunch as we have been before a couple of years ago and it was excellent. We were not disappointed this time either It is by far the best Sunday roast we have ever eaten out. Would highly recommend!
