I visited on Sunday with my 9 year old and 1) month old baby. I had requested a table with a high chair and near the window. On arrival I was offered a high table where my baby obviously couldn’t sit in a high chair so the lady said she would put me on the table behind. Not being able to see the table I said ok, however this one too was a high table so amongst the hassle she sat us at a table that hadn’t been cleaned and food was still in the high chair and all over the table and floor from previous family. She gave it a quick spray and wiped the remains on to the floor! It was really busy so had to ask for menu and again to order. I asked for peas not beans with my eldest sons meal and a rose wine for me. After the 45 min wait the food arrived by a not so polite man, when I asked about peas he response was we don’t have any not even offering any alternative! And the wine brought was white! Food was lovely however but the children’s portion was far too small. The decor is lovely just a little untidy, chairs etc not put bs k and tables clean. Oh and no cakes all just scones and flapjack.
