Yet again another amazing meal cooked and served by Dave this time Tapas. Outstanding menu and selection. Don't hesitate to hire this man. We can't wait until the next reason to dine - celebrate with Dave of Chef de Party.

Sunday 9th of August evening. A large sign says 2 courses menu 9.95. In a very small font, it says from Monday to Saturday. What is the point of putting up this large sign if not to mislead people?

Hi Tony I am only acquainted as a brewer- they stock a couple of our beers. My review is based on one evening that my partner and I really enjoyed there, when the beer I was drinking was £2 a half . Why don't you ask them directly about where they source their cheeses ? That would put an end to the speculation. Regards

Totem, I'm curious how "most" of the cheeses could be sourced from Neal's Yard when Neal's Yard doesn't even carry several of the cheeses on the board (some being exclusive to Pong). Also their house beer must be the only beer there at 2.00 per half pint. I was charged well in excess of 3.00 for a half a pint of Magic Rock Rapture (4.6) which is nowhere near the 9 abv you suggest. Am I right in thinking you're actually an friend/employee of Culture and Cure?

Our new favourite ! We had some lovely cheeses ( I asked the owner , and most are sourced from Neals Yard), and some of the really beers are £3 a half but that was for a 9 beer! I also tried a delicious half of their own beer which was £2 a half. We also ordered the salmon and beef from The British Tapas menu , which was gorgeous. Well done - we will be back with friends.

An impressive opening selection of craft beer and drinks but be warned the prices in their menu are not what you will be charged (2.00 per 1/2 pint listed in the menu, in reality well over 3.00). There is also a very high mark-up on bottles.Their cheeses are priced at 5.50 each (per tranche) which exceeds even prices in central London gastro-bars/specialist cheese cafes (e.g. Antidote, Androuet). This might be defendable if the sourcing/affinage were exceptional but as far as I can tell most of their cheese just come from Pong which you can order yourself online for a fraction of the price.

Went there on their first weekend. Like nothing else in Bath. Loads of personality. I really can't praise them enough for the quality of food, cooking and friendliness. I hope they can keep it up. Highly Recommended.

Due to not being able to take a holiday to any of the Greek Islands, i had searched for a local Greek restaurant. Was excited to go to Opa on my birthday. A beautiful setting and some friendly staff but i am just sorry that the food didnt live up to my expectations. I have eaten in a few Greek restaurants and the quality of food was no where near the same standard. The meat seemed to be processed and the taste of some dishes seemed over cooked. It was very quiet and my partner and i were the only customers the entire evening. The service was ok but not overly friendly or accommodating. A real shame, as my partners first time experiencing Greek food....its almost put him off.

Late lunch after a busy morning shopping in Bath and we stumbled across the Real Italian Pizza Co. Open kitchen and a few tables when you walk in plus a much larger dining area upstairs, to which we were directed. I had an Emiliana pizza which was a new one on me (a normal margherita, then when it’s cooked they add parma ham and balsamic) and my partner had the Caesar Salad. Food was good and we would certainly go back. Interesting that they had a notice on the door saying they would accept (and honour) vouchers for any of the big Italian chains. Struck me as a good way for an independent to fight back against the muscle of the big chains.

I visited the Curfew Inn dinning room last night with 5 friends for their 3 course Christmas meal. The starters were good, although you can't really go wrong with pate and salmon. 3 of my friends had the nut roast, which they said was very dry and salty and didn't really enjoy at all. The vegetables were cold and although a replacement was offered this didn't arrive until we had nearly all finished our meals. The steak bavette was very good but the potatoes were not cooked enough and slightly hard. The christmas pudding, ordered by one of my friends had to be sent back because it was cold only to be returned not much warmer. Two of us ordered the trifle and couldn't really eat it - the cream was over whipped and it contained so much port and brandy (not mentioned in the description on menu) it was overpowering and not a nice combination. The service wasn't bad but there were long periods with no waiter in the dinning room as he was also manning the bar downstairs. All in all a very disappointing experience. This isn't a place I would recommend and certainly won't be returning.

Initially we were a little disappointed as we had booked late afternoon and we were looking forward to the rabbit. However we were so glad we stayed as the pork was delicious and the service was welcoming and so friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed our evening thank you very much

A poor quality Indian restaurant, lacking atmosphere, civility of service with below average standard of food. Avoid unless you are convinced you want to try a new restaurant. Rajpoot, our usual, deserves all the credit it merits.
