Went for lunch 21 April26 to celebrate my wife's birthday - amazing salad, goats cheese tasty, salad very fresh and a wide mix of nuts and berries - one of the best salads we have had in years. Excellent service -present but not in your face. It was so good I am having lunch with a friend next week on 1 May
The Crown of Cookham – MaidenheadFamily run, situated in a great location for a walk along the high street and/or the River Thames. We initially visited to celebrate a birthday but it’s now our go to place locally and our 4th visit yesterday. Always made to feel welcome, the team are attentive, courteous and informative about the food and drinks. The food is fresh, homemade and delicious, arriving hot and in timely fashion. The decor is pleasant and the pub is immaculate with different areas so no matter how busy it is, it feels private and relaxed. Highly recommend and definitely going back.
