Great food. Really good atmosphere. Not the cheapest restaurant in the world but not overly expensive either. have been a couple of times now and the prices definitely reflect the quality of the ingredients as well as the great recipes and cooking. Would highly recommend!!!

this restaurant is awful and dirty

A regular visitor,once a week since opening. Superb quality,excellent choice and very friendly smiley staff. Superbly managed.The prawn toasts are to die for,and those prawn crackers. wow.Interestingly paid a visit to Modern China last week.Oh dear,say no more. No comparison. To be offered prawn toasts they must have prawns in. Say no more. Buffet island reigns supreme. One point however,wish they could do a decent banana fritter. Keep up the excellent standards. Modern China not In the same league.

we went to the boldmere harvester restaurant on Thursday the 3rd of feb,for my brother-laws birthday,this was our third time there,the second time wasn't clean enough with food on the floor and the tables.I'm sorry to say the third time was much worse ,the food wasn't enough,cold and we didn't realise we had to pay separately for fish when we ordered surf and turf.I've put a comment on the harvester website stating this.I'm sorry to say i wouldn't recommend the harvester on boldmere road,it was a waste of £70 and a disappointing night, and wont be going there again. Good food, good beer excellent staff, Never gone away disappointed

We have visited Jolokia on about 5 occasions now and have been delighted with everything about it. The food is excellent, the service is second to none, the staff are friendly and helpful and I like it better than any other Indian restaurant in Solihull.

The is a must visit venue, the food is absolutely divine, I only ordered the house burger & fries, and I can honestly say it was the best burger I have had in the last 5years. Fantastic. The restaurant itself is stunning, they seem to have thought long & hard about the design, which is based around lots of wooden features. Low beams, log fires etc all in all a wonderful experience, I now look forward to visiting in the summer, so I can enjoy the terrace outside.

Love this place! Been a number of times now and never been disappointed. The food is always fantastic with always something new and different on the Specials menu. Can really recommend the Fish Dishes. Bring your own alcohol which helps to keep the costs down. My favourite restaurant in town!

I wanted to go somewhere different for my birthday and was recommended La Fibule. I loved it here! Excellent service with friendly and helpful staff and the food was wonderful! It was so fresh and everything tasted so good! I can't wait to eat here again!

I visit the oaken arms usually once every 2 weeks with friends and family and really cant think of anything that can be changed to enhance the place we all love it and are made to feel so welcome, love the food , drinks ,staff ,ambiance and have recommended it to many people my husband says that maybe more bar staff would be good as they are always so busy ,last evening we came in and met up with people that we haven't seen for years their first time in and loved it ,we had a fab evening ,like home from home without the work of us cooking ,keep up the good work ,would be lost without it for our social life .celebrating family birthday with you next week ,looking forward to it

Great place for an authentic meal! The price you pay for the quality of food cannot be beaten in a restaurant in Birmingham! The food is 10/10 and we cannot wait to go back again! Would recommend to anyone living or visiting Birmingham!!

My family has been using Bedders for well over 30 years, even though it changed ownership, the food is simply excellent. I doubt you will find better fish and chips anywhere!

This is not a recommendation! I don't usually write reviews but felt I had to warn people about this cafe. My own food was edible but pricey for what it is. But I was horrified when a customer complained about a bacon sandwich which had tinned tomatoes added to it instead of fresh and received a barrage of rudeness and personal insults from the 2 women working there. One even pretended to spit on her food! I really cannot recommend this cafe to anyone after witnessing this.

My husband and I visited Simpsons recently and had a fabulous time! The atmosphere, service and food was wonderful. Well worth the price and we will certainly return again very soon!

We live approx 6 mins away from sweet chillies restaurant which is on yardley road so we ordered a meal online for it to be delivered at 7.50pm and it advised that it would take 40 mins to be delivered. At 8.50 we still had not received our order so we called to check for delivery time, we were told that it would be 15 mins as the driver was in Olton - my first thought was that the meal would be cold by the time it got to us but they assured us that it would be fine. at 9.40pm we still had no meal so we called again only to be told that the driver had just returned from Olton and he would leave with our order in 2 mins so we told them not to bother as the 15 mins had already been 50 mins so we were not prepared to wait any longer. EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE and if there is one thing we hate it is being lied to. We would not recommend this place under any circumstances for delivery and didnt get chance to sample the cuisine.
