No gimmick just straight fresh authentic Indian , home made style food. Did not think much of it before trying the dish first time , as it looked pretty ordinary like any other, but proof was in the eating , the best...10/10 ...and wallah it was not only tasted super but also it was very reasonably priced. Shobhas – Erdingtonmy visit to the AKRAM'S in stirchley was out of the world started with the mix salads and popadoms and trying the kashmiri fish (cod fillet) the manager specialty recommended to me and my wife had the chicken tikka sizzler peppers,onions,toms cooking while served both starter i marked 10 out of 10 never served in any restaurant and the mains where to follow special akrams tandoori and the balti exotic masala with only akrams special nan witch is a meal on it own mushroom rice cooked to perfection every thing came together for good food and service akrams is above all !!!!!!!! great music good atmosphere friendly staff one of my top restaurant on my list

Jafrany – Northfieldvisited the Restaurant and the two of us enjoyed the delicious fish nan. The fish was fresh and crispy. The saag chicken with the fresh nan roti was cooked to perfection. Loved the tandoori wings. The restaurant also has it's own car park too.
Kafe Karachi – Balti TriangleThe restaurant is beautifully decorated inside and outside. It has the best food i have ever eaten in Birmingham, especially the lahori karahi ghost(meat) The desserts were excellent. I had the New York cheesecake with fresh cream which i must say was beautifully presented. i would definitely return.ash Solihull
Hajee’s Spices – Balti Trianglei was at pizza by goli for my 75 birthday the food was out of this world the wine list was as good as any city center venues the staff were friendly and attentive a must place to visit

There was a great variety of starters along with three fabulous main dishes. The service and food was excellent, staff were well mannered and friendly.The price was also very reasonable. We all enjoyed ourselves very much and recommend others to dine here. Both water features were very pleasant to look at along with the trendy bar.

What an amazing restaurant situated in medieval Spoon St. The food was absolute top quality with lots of little special touches, such as a sorbet between courses. A vast array of beers, ciders and wine from around the world and a great atmosphere and decor. They even have some original beams from 1450! All this adds up to what I consider to be the best eating experience in Coventry at very reasonable prices.

Rainbow Cantonese Restaurant – Birmingham City CentreThis restaurant was great! I contacted them in advance to discuss having my 30th Birthday there on Saturday 18th May 09. Communications were fast via email and telephone calls to answer any questions I had. They gave me a table that fit all 20+ of my party on, in front of the lovely first floor windows and although they put a small fresh flower display on each table they gave me freedom to decorate the tables to my own theme in advance. Reading reviews in advance I wasn't expecting brilliant food BUT I was very surprised. I had the stuffed mushrooms followed by the Chilli Gamborini. DELICIOUS - and wonderfully home-cooked, fresh and tasty. Across the table all my birthday guests commented very positively about the quality of the food. I would have been pleasantly surprised if I was on a dinner date for 2, never mind this consistent standard for a very large party. The service was excellent and food came out well paced, hot and with professionalism. We had a few waiters who were very attentive with drinks orders and pouring wine/champagne. I can't recommend them enough for a special occasion that you are keen to go without hiccups and with plenty of smiles from all diners.

The food is superb .... can't find a fault, prices are really reasonable and as it's unlicensed and you take your own drinks no hefty beer prices!!! Superb all round experience.

Great in the day but a student pub at night..... lovely setting next to a recently developed stretch of canal... feed the ducks with the kids as a nice place to eat with them in the day.... All round nice modern pub... at the end of the day ..GOOD FOOD!!!
The Wharf – WalsallBuffet Island is one of the best Chinese buffets I have ever been to (and I've been to quite a few, believe me!). The service is usually excellent, and food is amazing - not the bland Chinese stuff that most Chinese restaurants/takeaways/buffets usually serve (Modern China take note!) . I shall be trying the new Buffet Island in Great Barr out soon (hopefully) and I hope that it'll be as good if not better than the one on Tyburn Rd (if that's possible!).
