The restaurant itself was totally packed with people on a Tuesday evening, with people willing to sit and wait for a table - Very good sign. We also waited for a table and was greeted by a lovely Italian gentleman who brought us a drink while we waited. Meal was excellent, service fantastic, lovely friendly atmosphere and would recommend it to anyone looking for fresh, gorgeous food!!

You are guaranteed excellent food in Channi's. I have been there three times now and the food is exceptional. Very traditional and authentic. In fact I'm off there this evening again and am really looking forward to it.

Raja tandoori is the best by far in bearwood .there food is untouchable. service is very friendly and they don? mind sharing a joke. they don? serve alcohol .but they dnt mind u bringing it in. there? a off licence opposite the restaurant.

We visited the sushi bar for the Sunday buffet. It was very average. For £10 per head eat as much as you want seems cheap but the food was just so boring!! I think they need to up the price and put more of a variety on the conveyor belt. However our waitress was very good and no complaints on the service.

I love everything about this restaurant. It is almost for sure the surroundings that you are in. The staff are excellent and the wine staff know what they are talking about. The food is good not of the standard of Simpsons but never the less well cooked and tastes great.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Birmingham. We have eaten in most of them!! It is always consistently good and the service is always excellent. They have plenty of variety for all tastes and we would not not hesitate recommending this restaurant to anyone.

The Hobs Meadow Was A friendly place it was relaxing and my dinner was lovely the beer there was very good my husband said an the wine was very nice indeed as me and my husband sat in the non smoking beer garden are kids also enjoyed the hobs meadow as they had fun on the bouncy castle and play area

Great pub great atmosphere great weekend nights. Albion match days provides friendly atmosphere! Del the gaffer is sound too!

Excellent restaurant Service was attentive not over the top staff very knowledgeable and manager was exceptional and very welcoming. The food was out of this world esp. the Roquefort Ice Cream with the tart tartin amazing. The amuse was fab a leek and ham soup with parmesan foam and quails egg. most of all made me so welcome as by myself and not at all patronising as am young def worth many visits

Buffet lunch is surprisingly popular for very average food.

I visited Iguanas with my 2 grown up sons a few weeks ago.. Though the service was a little slow the Raspberry Vodka Martini's kept us happy!! We had a selection of tapas.. The Calamari was cooked to perfection and if not fresh then very good quality, the garlic bread had a slightly burnt taste to it which although sounds awful was in fact delicious and added a wood oven authentic taste. The char grilled chicken nacho's were a feast too! To follow we had the yellow fin Tuna which even though it was overcooked was really tasty. The Rib eye steak was guarded closely by my son he admitted that it was as good as any eaten in Argentina!! The only disappointment was my asparagus salad which only had one spear of asparagus.. but then that serves me right for not picking something a little more adventurous!! All in all a wonderful meal and extremely good value for money and whilst the service was a little slow it wasn't a problem as the atmosphere was great. We will definitely be visiting again...

My friends and I love this restaurant, fantastic food at very reasonable prices, and walking distance from home. We also love the full size decorative tree in the middle of the restaurant - this is even more exciting when a few drinks have been consumed prior to dining!!!

The best meal out I have had in a long time. The staff were pleasant and attentive. The food was fresh and tasty. The live music was entertaining. Simply fab!

Had a meal for 19 people booked for late afternoon/early evening on a Saturday. Although the restaurant was very quiet, we could not recommend this place enough.. it certainly deserves to be more well known. All 19 meals came out at the same time, all cooked to perfection and complimented by very attentive service from the rest of the staff. The restaurant provides a wide and somewhat unusual selection, with a full italian and indian menu offered, at very reasonable prices too.. certainly value for money for food of this quality, and they had no problem catering for the children in our party either.
