Excellent food and friendly staff. A little expensive but you get what you pay for and it is certainly worth the extra. if you want a variation to a dish on the menu that is no problem. I know from a previous visit that they also cater welm for peoples allergies or special diet. we will be back Thank You

Went in Saturday night, have been many times and once again was not disappointed at all. Service, food, cleanliness everything is perfect and would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely eating area and very pleasant & efficient staff and service. The sourdough wraps were lovely however there could have been a bit more filling especially of the roasted vegetables.

Family of 5 adults. Helpful service concerned to make sure gluten free customer was catered for. Food homemade and presented nicely. Sat inside as weather not good but suspect eating overlooking the course would be great on a dry day. Think the inside could be dressed a little more as the food is great and should be showcased and reflected in the interior. However everything was clean, tidy and bright. Don’t misunderstand the inside was lovely. Would love to try the roast Sunday lunches. Definitely a little gem!

Family afternoon tea for parents 65th wedding anniversary. Food very good, service not so good (only one waitress on - she was very pleasant and trying hard, but it was too much for one person). We arrived at set time, but had to wait at least 45 minutes for the food to arrive, and had to ask twice for the actual tea/coffee, which arrived as we were finishing the food. Probably more atmosphere when it is full, when half empty a bit lacking. We had stated that it was a 65th wedding anniversary when booking and later when confirming, so a bit surprised they didnt do something to mark the occasion - we were a party of 12 so its a substantial booking - a couple of balloons, or a special cake, or some small gesture. Also would have been nice to sit out on the terrace as weather was good. Food was very good - except the scones which were a huge let down.....more like biscuits! Mini arancini particularly impressive, as was the house made pesto; and the mini custards. good variety of sandwiches, hot savouries, and cakes. Could do with more staff, and a bit more personal contact with guests - no sign of a manager or anyone to greet guests.....everything else needs to be upped a bit to match the quality of the food.

Italios was a new restaurant for us to try an it was wonderful - we had missed our 50th Wedding anniversary and our relatives birthdays so going out for a meal was very special to us and it was. The staff were so friendly and helpful the food was very very tasty and generous helpings in fact the starters almost filled us up ! We are going to bring our sons to this restaurant next time. Everything was just perfect..

Wonderful afternoon tea with food that was to die for- those melting moment biscuits blow your sugary socks off! Really pleasant service, relaxing atmosphere and I wouldn't hesitate to come again, despite living an hour away :)

Food is always delicious whatever you choose from the menu, atmosphere is fantastic and the staff are awesome, friendly and welcoming. What can I say - in my opinion the best Italian restaurant Ive ever been in. Dont hesitate to book a table, you wont be disappointed. Easy 5 stars.

Had afternoon tea booked for 6 adults 1 being a coeliac. We had been changing this booking from December and communication with the venue was excellent. When we arrived we were seated outside and this was great as it was quite a warm day. We did wait a while before someone asked if we wanted to order any drinks. The app wasn’t explained to us immediately so we ordered with the waitress. Our drinks we brought out shortly followed by the food, however unlike other times the items wasn’t explained to the whole table what each item was until a few of us were querying what each item was, the person who had the coeliac option had hers explained. When we wanted another drink we ordered again the way we had done the first time and waited quite a while for it to get to us, which was fine as we were chatting. When we wanted to order drinks again we asked the lady who came to clear plates away if we could order drinks and was told to use the app, I explained that the bill is being split and she said yes that’s fine use the app, I asked would I not pay upon completing my order on the app and was told yes, which was no use as the drinks bill was being split, so asked to order the way we had the other two times, I was then told quite bluntly, well there is quite a wait as we are busy. I do appreciate that but felt it could have been explained in a more friendly manner. Overall we were all still happy but all felt some of the service was not upto the usual standard that I and the rest of the party have experienced on the several times I/We have been previously., maybe staff had called in sick and it made it harder, I don’t know . Overall we would still come again and are looking forward to it.
