FANTASTIC MEAL AND SERVICE WAS BEYOND BRILLAINT .THE STAFF AND NINO ARE A CREDIT TO ITALIO TOP QUIALTY DEFENINLTY GOING FAMILY LOVED

We booked staining lodge to go with the family as the summer is coming to an end and the kids(3 teenagers)are going back to school. Having eaten here many times before the kids were looking forward to the chicken strips and the scampi. When we got there we were told to sit at the far side, we weren’t shown to the table, the menus were already on the tables and I have to say we were really disappointed with the choices so much so we nearly left, However we decided to stay, when the guy came over 20mins later we placed our order the kids ended up having kids meals as there was nothing else suitable and my husband ordered a Sunday roast (which was on the menu) only to be told it was available during the week!! We waited probably 25mins for the food to come and at best it was an average meal. As the kids were still hungry we decided to order them desserts. We waited a further 15 mins and eventually had to get someone to take the order. Myself and my husband ordered coffees at the same time. The coffees came after 15 mins and were cold!! I had to ask when the desserts were coming as the kids had already waited 25mins. The restaurant wasn’t full there were empty tables. When I went to pay a different guy asked was everything ok when I told about our experience he couldn’t have cared less!! Thankfully it was the last day of the half price offer so we didn’t have to pay full price but we definitely will not be returning any time soon.

Excellent staff providing excellent attentive service. Food delicious and good portions. Might be nice to have smaller portions for children at lower price but never the less all good. Also felt safe with COVID measures in place.

Staff very attentive food was lovely sat in the outside space which was lovely, booked at last minute, glad we managed to book here, only niggle I have that we asked for a small 1 scoop ice cream for our 3yr old got 3 scoops think it was which was too much for her and charged 4.95 for it which think was a bit much for what we asked for, other than that had a lovely evening and lovely food .

Great food and service, staff polite and friendly, never any problems at Italio, been for a lot of meals in the past and will be going again and again in the future. Mushrooms for starters, chicken for main, lovely.

Dined on Thursday. Service ok but no one asked if the meal was acceptable. We ordered 2 x Prawn pasta dishes and were underwhelmed by the use of tasteless frozen prawns. This is a shame because we have had this dish on many occasions previously with excellent results. The cheese on our Grandaughter's pizza was hard and inedible, obviously a cheap product. This was a great letdown and what used to be our favourite Italian is that no longer. All in all a lot of money for a poor meal and no one asked if it was acceptable. Poor.

A very pleasant afternoon spent in gentle surroundings. The staff were attentive. The food was delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely place to others.

Dined on Monday night, quite late for us, but that was all that was available but it was most enjoyable. Staff all very pleasant, food excellent and well cooked and presented. Will certainly visit again. The lay out was also excellent. Thank you for a lovely experience.

We had lunch on Wednesday. It was without exception superb. Each course was not only outstanding it was served by the most pleasant staff. There was plenty of each course served and we finished with the meringue laced with summer fruits which was the finest we have ever had. The best meal we have had for years.

Visited on Wednesday night our first trip to any restaurant since February. An early teatime slot as we couldn’t get in at any other time . Staff and food were excellent as always. We both had the spare ribs to start and then our favourite Pizza. Obviously very good value because of the current Eat Out scheme but once that has finished we won’t hesitate to return to our favourite Italian. Covid secure precautions were definitely in place. Thank you for a lovely meal Italio.

Lovely lunch, helpful staff and if the sun is shining outside area suited to complete a enjoyable visit.

Been to Staining Lodge many times with both friends and family and they never disappoint...food is exceptional and the service is second to none. The restaraunt offers a lovely view over the Staining countryside and golf course and the staff are so friendly and polite. I can definitely recommend the seafood platter and the goats cheese, walnut and apple salad...just 2 of my favourites. Looking forward to my next visit.

Food is amazing as always .. and staff always are so polite and helpful ..always going above and beyond with a smile ..great customer service ..my fave place to eat in Blackpool as it is my childrens
