Everybody thoroughly enjoyed their meals at Ambrosini's. All the staff were so friendly. We will definitely return.
Ambrosinis – BlackpoolI visited Montagues last weekend. I love it there! The staff are so friendly, the decor is slick and on point, the menu bob on and the atmosphere is buzzing. It's well worth a visit. This is a great addition to Highfield road!
Montagues – BlackpoolWell Blackpool has a new chain restaurant, Las Iguanas where Burger King used to be. It is a professional set up and part of a 52 venue group. South American style food which was very nice. Enjoyed my croquettas and spicy chicken (Blazing Bird) and my partner made the right noises about her black bean bolinhos and her crayfish Brazilian curry (XinXim). Did not enjoy the corn on the cob smothered in mayo and cheese, leave it alone. service was efficient and friendly and the CAIPIRINHA cocktails were ace!
Las Iguanas – BlackpoolHighly Recommended. Fish is fresh and flakey, chips are not half cooked but a lovely golden brown and fluffy in the middle and the peas are some of the best ever tasted. New Manager in there deserves an award. Go and try it. :)

Our Wee Chippy – BlackpoolAmbrosini in Blackpool’s South Shore has become something of a cult restaurant so I felt grateful just to get a reservation when I booked at short notice recently. It’s a tiny venue in a quiet part of town and is at root simply an old school Italian that does the basics very well and as a result has built up a loyal local clientele. Friendly staff and tasty food – what more do you want from your local neighbourhood Italian.
Ambrosinis – BlackpoolNow under new ownership. Dropped in on the off chance after a trip to the optician’s. They have modified the lighting (which was previously very bright) and updated the menu. The new owner Hussein is very friendly too. We enjoyed our meal and will be back.
Blue Diamond – BlackpoolAfter going to the original at Cleveleys, it was time to try the new one on Dickson Road. We went with two friends and had a fabulous meal. The furnishings were homely and the staff very helpful. As usual the the menu was vast with a 2 course special. Well Pleased.

Our Wee Chippy – BlackpoolI had not been back to Go Greek for some time, and tried the new Olive Tree in Preston -BIG MISTAKE - so if you want an authentic Greek meal with atmosphere and good Greek cooking don't go elsewhere. I won't try anywhere else again.
Go Greek – BlackpoolRUBBISH SERVICE. Part of meal not delivered waited half an hour still nothing, called and asked for money back and staff were rude. I would recommend that you spend your hard earned cash elsewhere.
Curry Time – BlackpoolBest cappuccino I have ever had! Just popped in for a coffee yesterday. Didn't eat this time however the food is excellent too, as enjoyed on previous visits.
Italio – BlackpoolI attended their cocktail masterclass recently and was extremely disappointed with the lack of instruction and cocktails made. Only 2 in our party made a cocktail, the other 'cocktail' was made up of different flavoured vodka's (he didn't know the name) and the rest were shots!! Absolute waste of money and would not recommend this to anyone hoping to learn how to make cocktails and try new ones.

Mere Park Hotel – BlackpoolWe stopped off here on Saturday at 5.30pm for tea after an afternoon's shopping in the UK's Premier Seaside Resort. Situated next to the Winter Gardens (handy for pre and post show meals ), we were the first ones in and were greeted very well, seated quickly and provided with complimentary bread sticks and dips whilst making our menu choices.This was the first time we had been to this relatively new venue in Blackpool and we were pleasantly surprised by the lovely decor and ambience.There was a specials sheet and the restaurant soon filled up. We had a tomato garlic bread to start, 2 pasta dishes as main course, a beer and a large wine and 2 coffees ... approx. £38.00 from memory. Great value and we look forward to returning in the future.
