Leena Tandoori – BoltonThis is my favourite restaurant in the North West. The dishes taste fabulous are beautifully presented and the staff always have a smile (we have a favourite waitress - thai dress - but I can't remember her name) Anyway, I strongly recommend a visit - I don't think you will be disappointed

Nam Ploy – BoltonI've been to Harvey's a few times. The menu is simple but tasty, and always made fresh by the chefs unlike some chain restaurants that serve pre-made microwave food. It's got quite a unique interior too and I believe it's a listed building. Well worth a visit for lunch, dinner, cocktails or just a beer if you're in Bolton.
Harvey’s Cafe Bar – BoltonStunning food, pricey but value for money real quality and a friendly welcome from Dave and the entire team!
Wilton Arms – Boltonwell worth visiting. tried first time a year ago and was hooked!! great food and very good service. would recommend, been going since even though i live 40 miles away
Sizzling Palate Restaurant – BoltonRecommended by a very good friend of ours who talks about this place like its the best thing since slice bread, me and my partner thought it was time we went too see what all the fuss was all about. I must point out, the real reason we had not gone before is that we live on the other side of Manchester and normally go to the city. Anyway we made an effort and went on the Saturday 16th February for a Valentine dinner for my partner as I was away on the 14th. We got there early but bar was fairly busy. We was welcomed by the manager who asked if we booked a table. At this point I was worried because I did not book. When I told him this, the manager was very friendly and said it would be ok and asked us to have a drink in the bar. We got a drink and had to stand at the bar as there was no seats. More and more people came in and 20 min went by. My partner did mention that we did not leave our name with the manager so things were not looking good. I felt a tap on my shoulder and it was the manager asking us to follow him to the table. He took us to a very nice table in the window and asked us if we wanted a drink He was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had king prawns mussels to start which was fantastic and lamb and fish special for our main course. I must say was on of the best meals we have ever had. The place was packed but the service we excellent and friendly. We got to know our waiter who was a bit of a clown. The manager came over to ask us if everything was ok and I told him we will definitely be coming again. What a knight! Well worth the drive, and we are going back with our friends as soon as we get back from America.
Baci Restaurant – BoltonA really enjoyable place to eat. The welcoming is warm and friendly, staff are attentive without being intrusive and this all makes for a relaxed, informal atmosphere. The menu is varied, the food fresh and well presented and very good value for money. Well worth a visit.
Black Dog Inn – BoltonWe went to Baci on Saturday 26th January 2008 to celebrate my husbands 30th birthday. This restaurant was recommended to us and I have to say that it did not disappoint. We had a table booked at 8.45 and arrived slightly early to enjoy a pre dinner drink in the bar area. The bar was very crowded and our table was slightly late, not a good start I thought. The restaurant host showed us to our table and did not even offer to assist in carrying our drinks while we were struggling with coats and bags. At this point I had a very low opinion of the service and didn't hold much hope for the night ahead. The restaurants saving grace was the waiters, they couldn't do enough. They took service with a smile to another level. They were certainly entertaining! We were having such a good time that we did not notice that it was almost 11pm and we had only had our starters. As soon as I queried this with the waiter he rushed to the kitchen, hurried the food along and gave us a bottle of wine as an apology. The food when we received it was fantastic, some had pasta some duck and steak and all were very impressed. All in all it was a fantastic evening, luckily we had very understanding babysitters! We will definitely be returning very soon but will try and book in a bit earlier and hopefully avoid the rush.
Baci Restaurant – BoltonI have eaten here many times the food is always excellent, the staff friendly and helpful. There is a good selection on the menu and it is not expensive. Very good choice
Sunar Gaw Balti Cuisine – BoltonI visited Namploy on a Friday night with my husband after reading rave reviews and was disappointed to find the food and service left much to be desired! We were expecting authentic Thai food but what we got was extremely bland, tasteless stir fry that could have been from a Chinese takeaway. All our main courses were left hardly touched and nothing was said or done when we commented that we weren't happy with the food. I would never go again as there is a far better Thai restaurant around the corner that I have been visiting for years.
Nam Ploy – BoltonLovely decor and lighting. Let down by the service. The food was okay with a decent variety on the menu. The booking system seemed a little vague, but we were given a table with little fuss. overall, nice place, but service could be better.
Baci Restaurant – BoltonWe tried this restaurant twice. The first time the service was an absolute joke. We booked a table for 8.30 and having sat in the bar for an hour we were presented with the bill! when my husband explained we hadn't actually eaten yet we were eventually shown to our table. The service went from bad to worse we were again presented with a bill for a party of 8 people (there were 2 of us), we got the wrong meals, the waiter dripped wine all over my meal, the wrong wine arrived, and my husband ended up getting our own coffees from the kitchen as we gave up waiting for them. We tried again, a few months later. Everyone deserves a second chance. This time we were shown to our table on time. But, we sat there for an hour. We got the attention of a chinese guy (the owner) we said we had been sitting there for an hour, his reply was, well what do you want then. We didn't get an apology. We weren't impressed. We would never go back and although the restaurant looks lovely we would rather spend our money somewhere that appreciates it's customers
Baci Restaurant – BoltonPleasant ambiance and the food caters well for children an adults. Unfortunately what spoiled it somewhat was the extremely slow service even though the restaurant was not especially busy. We have experienced the same problem here on previous occasions and now tend to go elsewhere because of this.
Frankie and Bennys – BoltonCMB & Namploy have formed a sponsorship for promoting the youth of Bolton within sport I visited this week with friends and have to say the meal was fantastic. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked the whole place for our Xmas party on the 22nd of December. Over 150 places. Steve CMB FC Chairman...
Nam Ploy – BoltonI have been visiting Nam Ploy now for well over a year, it is a stunning place and the food is out of this world. We eat out on a regular basis and there is few places we revisit but we are always drawn back to Nam Ploy. The Staff are lovely and the service is second to none, they make you feel really special. We have even been getting takeaways from there when we are not in the mood for going out. I think it has to be one of the best places to eat out in the area,it is simply stunning, they also have private dinning rooms. You must go and try it, as soon as you walk through the door you know its going to be a special gem of a restaurant.
Nam Ploy – BoltonGreat for familys, I have a two year old, very well catered for, they get a balloon, an activity pack, they don't mind when your child trys to demolish the place by flinging spaghetti. Very helpful staff. Been lots of times, menu to suit everyone, great kids one smaller portions and junior portions, very varied adult one with something for everyone, garlic mushrooms, to potato skins, to burgers to prawns.... puddings are fab. not rushed. great
Frankie and Bennys – BoltonI have been here to this restaurant since opening, it has always drove me mad that they are sooooooooooo over attentive. they've obviously not changed that. But the food is fantastic, still go, don't let over attentive staff put you off. It does make you feel a little awkward though. Don't put your knife and fork down though till you've finished eating hahahaha!!
