Nam Ploy – BoltonTHE best chip shop in Bolton.
Chae’s – BoltonI honestly cannot compliment or recommend this restaurant enough!!! I have been on several occasions now, both lunch time and evening, and have found it perfect every time!!! The staff are always welcoming, to children as well which is lovely to see as some other restaurants near here don't welcome children!!!! the food is always top standard and have never once had anything to complain about!! well only that i cant dine there daily!!!!!! would definitely recommend La Roma to anyone looking for a authentic italian meal in a warm friendly atmosphere
La Roma Restaurant – Boltonjust enjoyed another fantastic meal at la roma, i consider myself quite a fussy eater and don't usually have many options on the menu but ive managed to have something different each time ive been here there's so much to choose from. The staff are lovely and the restaurant itself is always clean with a good atmosphere. the big plus for me is that it is so child friendly and everyone is made to feel welcome. I've been really impressed how accommodating the staff have been when we've gone for lunch from work, its usually difficult to coordinate 20 of us fitting a nice meal into an hour but we fax our order through and our meals are waiting for us, no rushing or need to take a doggy bag out with us!! keep up the good work.
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonA truly lovely dining experience with friendly staff. The food was magnificent especially the chicken shashlik which offered a unique taste that i had not tasted before in other restaurants. Highly recommended!
Lagan – BoltonI have read your policy on negative views and would like to give a constructive criticism, the Dhanak Deira has no direct contact for e-mail. I went for a meal there last night and with a party of five sat down and ordered a meal at 8.20, the starters arrived at 9.10 and the main meal at 10.30. Apparently there was a problem with the catering for a large wedding party upstairs. There was an altercation with a wedding guest, which was actually quite entertaining. We refused to pay the bill of £76 and the bill was adjusted to £35, the point if this complaint is to suggest to the manager that we appreciated their difficulties but would have appreciated an apology for poor service and whilst we were waiting we could have been served with a few poppadoms and sauces and an explanation for delay. In short a more professional attitude and less basil fawlty, the food was excellent but small portions.
Dhanak Deira – Bolton4 of us Went to madisons on saturday, The waiters understand little english, they have no waiter experience bumping into you at tables , grabing plates from all angles. Chef burns food and they still serve it to you. Limited drinks available. One plate of veg with 1 brocolli 1 cauliflour & carrots to share between 2 people. Rasberry pavalova tastes cheap & came mushed up. Quiet expensive will not be recommending or visiting again.
Hot Chilli – Boltonreally nice, fresh food from the extensive menu - the children's menu is particularly good and is "proper" food ! very nice staff, child friendly, lovely setting. would highly recommend.
King William – BoltonI have now visited La Roma twice, once in the evening and once at lunchtime. On both occasions Stefano and his staff made myself and my party extremely welcome. The food was excellent and very well presented - the garlic bread is the best I have ever tasted! I would and do recommend La Roma to everyone I know. I do not live locally but the journey is well worth it! Thank you Stefano and your lovely staff.
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonJust to let you all know, these so-called, indians or pakistanis had us off. Me and my cousins called in on : Tuesday, 7th of July about a good thirteen of us. We were given our seats. Starters took about 45 minutes to prepare. Thereafter, about an hour wait later came our main-course. (we asked the waiter prior to ordering the dishes how many people would one dish be suitable for?) The waiter replied "it's fit for, 4 people" When the dishes arrived we were gob-smacked at the pea-sized portion we were provided with. We spoke to the waiter again who told us that we are lying?!?! After this we avoided any embarasment and ordered another four dishes to serve the thirteen people. The quality and quantity of the food was appauling, the level of service was hideous! The restaurant is lavish and as for the management they need to buck up their attitudes. Just like to also let u know that the dish which was only fit for one person was charged at #10 pounds. I'd rather go to my local curry house and pay a fraction of the price for the shit I was given at Dhanak Deira. Hina, I bet your relatives own this hole on Blackburn Road. Everyone has there opinion and an honest opinion counts please withdraw your comment. I would like to let you know that the revenue this place generates, is from weddings and parties. To just walk-in and order something, don't even bother. And dear management, for taking the mickey, with us the internet will hear our voice. We will let everyone know never to visit your restaurant simply because you lot have taken the piss.
Dhanak Deira – BoltonAn excellent choice of menu and absolutely delicious when served. Service is great, not rushed or having to wait too long to order. Recommend the restaurant to anyone as food and wine is excellent and great value.
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonMy hubby and I visited here for the first time on Saturday night... we booked for 9pm but on arrival there seemed to be a mix up amongst the (senior, not waiting) staff and on our way to our table we were ushered briskly back to the bar area by another guy as he 'has people waiting' ..? then left us to it for 25 mins before even offering us a menu ... the place was busy but not bursting - when we got seated at 935ish there were 4 or 5 clear tables. Anyway aside from that, which i found very rude but counted to ten as we didn't want to spoil a long awaited night out :(... the food was good, waiting staff very polite and pleasant. Nice to have a pub/bar area which was lively, for a drink after meal.
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonA fantastic, well run, friendly Italian restaurant with excellent food and service in a lovely location in the Irwell Valley. I fully recommend La Roma whether it be an informal lunch time visit, a romantic meal, party time or with kids also. La Roma offers the all round package for whoever you are. We like La Roma so much that we don't consider any other Italian restaurant as most just can't compete.. ps The House Red is superb!
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonWe've been here a few times in 2008 and everything was great, went in June 2009 and it seems as though there has been a change of management. The food is ok but not outstanding and a little bit pricey for what you get. Saying that ,the desserts are excellent. The staff seem friendly enough but one of them was not as friendly as the others. She seemed a little arrogant with customers and wouldn't smile at all. Food 6/10 Service 6/10 Price 6/10.
Tavern Fayre – Boltonwe love the taj mahal, great atmosphere, excellent food, not too pricey and the staff are lovely :) always have any family get together here and they always do us proud
Taj Mahal – BoltonI have visited La Roma many times with my husband and baby daughter and we are always welcomed warmly by Stefano and his staff. In fact, every time my parents visit they insist on going to lunch at least on one day as they find the food outstanding value for money, beautifully prepared and always hot!
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonWe and our family and friends have been eating at La Roma for over 9 yrs - 8 at the previous place in Bromley cross and now for over a year in their new home. The food has always been of a consistent high quality, probably the best Italian food in the area! The menu is varied, there is something for everyone, from our one year old grandchild who loves the pasta to some members of the older generation who love the plainer (they do it without the sauce for him) fare of steaks(the hard to please father in law!). Definitely recommend La Roma to lovers of good food, pleasant surroundings and very friendly and obliging staff!
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonWhat a beautiful setting for a great restaurant. Look out of the windows and greenery abounds. We went for lunch on my birthday. The service was second to none. The food was delicious- piping hot as I like it. The owner found time to chat to everyone. It was an enjoyable experience, which we hope to repeat this weekend with friends.
