Pleasant ambiance and the food caters well for children an adults. Unfortunately what spoiled it somewhat was the extremely slow service even though the restaurant was not especially busy. We have experienced the same problem here on previous occasions and now tend to go elsewhere because of this.

CMB & Namploy have formed a sponsorship for promoting the youth of Bolton within sport I visited this week with friends and have to say the meal was fantastic. I have been visiting Nam Ploy now for well over a year, it is a stunning place and the food is out of this world. We eat out on a regular basis and there is few places we revisit but we are always drawn back to Nam Ploy. The Staff are lovely and the service is second to none, they make you feel really special. We have even been getting takeaways from there when we are not in the mood for going out. I think it has to be one of the best places to eat out in the area,it is simply stunning, they also have private dinning rooms. You must go and try it, as soon as you walk through the door you know its going to be a special gem of a restaurant.

Great for familys, I have a two year old, very well catered for, they get a balloon, an activity pack, they don't mind when your child trys to demolish the place by flinging spaghetti. Very helpful staff. Been lots of times, menu to suit everyone, great kids one smaller portions and junior portions, very varied adult one with something for everyone, garlic mushrooms, to potato skins, to burgers to prawns.... puddings are fab. not rushed. great

I have been here to this restaurant since opening, it has always drove me mad that they are sooooooooooo over attentive. they've obviously not changed that. But the food is fantastic, still go, don't let over attentive staff put you off. It does make you feel a little awkward though. Don't put your knife and fork down though till you've finished eating hahahaha!!

The Tavern is great for a family lunch, with a good choice of food which is tasty and filling.

What a lovely restaurant. Myself and some friends visited Nam Ploy after a bad experience at Mai Thai, the other thai restaurant in Bolton. I could not have been more delighted. The place is beautiful, the service attentive yet not overbearing and the whole meal was under £100 for 4 starters, mains, deserts and 2 drinks each. Can not rate highly enough.

myself and my partner have been dining here for some time now more frequently when i was pregnant and now my baby is 9 months old and we are made to feel like part of a family. we enjoy this restaurant so much we are holding our daughters christening here later in the year

I have been to Sunar Gaw several times and I can honestly say it's fantastic. The location isn't the best, however the food more than makes up for it, every dish I've had from here has been delightful and its stupidly cheap too, I'm always amazed when the bill comes. The staff are also really friendly, what more can I say it's a belter.

Went last night had a really lovely meal lighting just right, nice ambience too.

Been many times always a very good meal with friendly staff who will help in any way. Not expensive. Very hard to beat.

We go to Pizza express on a regular basis and as of yet we have not had a bad experience. We would recommend this restaurant to our friends, the service is excellent and it is a friendly place set back from the town centre.. We love it there Andy & Rosheen

The food is delicious, they do not overload the recipes with to many hot spices, you can really taste the ingredients. If you love Indian food I would definitely recommend you try the Sunar Gaw.

Our evening here was a complete delight, the food was the best Indian I have ever had - I cant wait to go again!

We go here every Saturday - the staff are always friendly and always have time for you. The food is excellent value for money and always hot when served. The atmosphere is very relaxed - wish I could stay longer - love the place - highly recommended!!!
