Service was perfect

I used the online booking system which was very easy to book a table for 6 people at lunchtime. We were greeted by very pleasant staff & our orders taken. We all ordered different meals from the lunchtime menu, all came out together, were well presented & delicious. The atmosphere at Ellenders was lovely & we would definitely recommend.

Food not nearly as nice as usual. Girl in the kitchen handled all the food with bare hands. No gloves, no utensils. Also, was accused of not having paid in advance! Apparently "the office" forgot to update their records. Being embarrassed like that in front of your friends is not very nice. Had to get my credit card statement in the end to prove I had paid. Not good Ellenders!!!

Visited yesterday and I had Tuscan Chicken, pasta was far too overcooked. Sticky rhubarb dessert was amazing. My friend had Fish and chips and her portion was very generous and tasted amazing. She had Fruit Crumble for dessert, again very generous portion and although she didn't manage the full portion she did say a bit to sharp in flavour for her. Will be back again on Friday with my family to try something different from the menu.

Visited Ellender’s on 15/7/26 for a meal and to watch the England game. I had one of the World Cup burgers which was delicious hubby had a Cobb salad which he said he enjoyed. Finished off with a slice of Milky Way cake Yum! Staff as always pleasant and cheerful. Shame there was no Cherry on the cake in the way of an England win.

We went to Ellenders for my 60th birthday celebration. As always the food was excellent and the service outstanding. We always feel welcome .

I went to the restaurant with my brother for his birthday meal. We were greeted as soon as we arrived and shown to our reserved table. The meal was lovely, we had a bit of a wait but we were kept informed about it. It gave us chance to have a chat and watch the football on the tvs. We were served our drinks with no delay. The staff are very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend Ellenders to anyone.

From arriving to leaving the staff were great, the service was very good and the food first class. Would recommend it.

Enjoyed the Tex Mex evening very much. The food was very tasty and well presented. I indulged in a Tequila sunrise cocktail and it was delicious and Kevan enjoyed his Margherita. We love Ellenders as the staff are always friendly, helpful and provide an excellent service.
