I had a lovely evening meal with my fiance,the front of house staff was brilliant,the food was excellent nothing to complain about,will be returning

Had a fantastic evening celebrating a friend’s birthday there was 14 off us and the food was great and the service. The staff are always so helpful and well mannered

We went to Ellenders yesterday we were served by the lovely Rachel she as always was brilliant.However there was a long wait which she explained to us,which was out of her control, she handled the situation well. The food as always was excellent.

Staff was amazing and such a laugh. Food was amazing as always. And answered all questions if we had any. Well definitely be back

Food was spot on. Pie was full of meat, veg and potatoes nicely seasoned. My daughter had a tuna melt which was full and looked delicious. Service was friendly. Will be back again soon

Our monthly get together four brothers choose Ellenders and were not disappointed. Food and service was excellent. The pie was full of meat and was hard work getting all down us ( but we did) A very pleasant evening.

Service was perfect

I used the online booking system which was very easy to book a table for 6 people at lunchtime. We were greeted by very pleasant staff & our orders taken. We all ordered different meals from the lunchtime menu, all came out together, were well presented & delicious. The atmosphere at Ellenders was lovely & we would definitely recommend.

Food not nearly as nice as usual. Girl in the kitchen handled all the food with bare hands. No gloves, no utensils. Also, was accused of not having paid in advance! Apparently "the office" forgot to update their records. Being embarrassed like that in front of your friends is not very nice. Had to get my credit card statement in the end to prove I had paid. Not good Ellenders!!!

Visited yesterday and I had Tuscan Chicken, pasta was far too overcooked. Sticky rhubarb dessert was amazing. My friend had Fish and chips and her portion was very generous and tasted amazing. She had Fruit Crumble for dessert, again very generous portion and although she didn't manage the full portion she did say a bit to sharp in flavour for her. Will be back again on Friday with my family to try something different from the menu.

Visited Ellender’s on 15/7/26 for a meal and to watch the England game. I had one of the World Cup burgers which was delicious hubby had a Cobb salad which he said he enjoyed. Finished off with a slice of Milky Way cake Yum! Staff as always pleasant and cheerful. Shame there was no Cherry on the cake in the way of an England win.
