Great value for money, great family restaurant and best of all AMAZING food! The naans are gorgeous ! try the Potato and Coriander naan! Definitely booking for Christmas

Loved the food at this restaurant....very talented chef who came out and asked if everything was ok...my only bug bare was that there was no alcohol allowed on the premises, bit upsetting for me as i like a drink when eating out.. They do not have a licence nor can you take any in.....BUT do not let this put you off as the food is very good....also very spicy if you like a bit of a kick :-)

Having watched the Gordon Ramsey programme and having to wait a couple of weeks for a table Prashad was worth the wait for my husband's birthday. The food, atmosphere and everyone working there were brilliant and it definitely lived up to expectations, well worth the 90 mile trip. The birthday dessert for my husband was much appreciated and we will definitely be back..

Excellent service and friendly staff. Wide range of food to choose from, reasonable prices and good portion sizes. Food is excellent, had wide range from the menu and have been happy with standards every time. Highly recommended!

I was so happy to find a vegetarian restaurant and I thought that I have to try it, especially after it was recommended on TV. I went there, and I was very disappointed because of many points, which are: the food was alright, taste wise; portions were very small, the cost was very too expensive, toilets were disgusting; and my partner and me end up with awful diarrhea afterward.

Undoubtedly the best vegetarian food - the special chatt is a must try. By far the best I have tasted! Keep up the excellent work!

I have brought my grandsons here for many years it has always been satisfactory , they have now grown up and they are bringing their girlfriends and their girlfriends families, so now we all get together at celebration times , the food is just as good , service excellent and the price if very competitive.

Well this place defiantly lives up to its name producing fresh and top quality food and all delivered with friendly and very helpful staff, well worth the trip from Kent.

This is a fabulous restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful in recommending dishes from the extensive vegetarian menu. We chose a selection of dishes as we wanted to sample as much as possible. When the food arrived the waiter explained what each dish was. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was delicious, the best we have ever tasted and very reasonable prices. We couldn't fault the food or service in any way. Definitely worth the journey from Coventry, two very satisfied customers. Keep up the good work!

Prashad should have won the final as their food is not only delicious and fresh but a good price. We first went there several years ago and the standard is even better now.

akbars , is fab love it the custom is best of all everyone is very polite and nice the food hhmmmmm is brill and the price is reasonable, and is the best restaurant on leeds rd and the whole of bradford akbars all the way !!!

Called in there for Sunday lunch at the weekend. The place wasn't busy but we had to wait a while for the food to arrive. When it did, it was excellent. All home cooked with tastiest meat I've had for a long time - well worth the wait and all at a reasonable price.

Me and my partner are huge fans of Indian cuisine and were very dubious about whether we would enjoy a vegetarian option. My partner is a self-confessed carnivore who believed 'a meal is not a meal without meat in it'. We were lucky enough to take part in the first round of the competition in 'Ramsay's Best Restaurant' and were members of the 30 strong coach trip of diners who descended on Prashad for a 2-course meal. To say we were blown away is an understatement! The food here is absolutely second to none and is by far the best Indian Cuisine that we have ever eaten. My partner did a complete turn around and openly admits that meat is not missed. Everything prepared is so fresh, flavours are well balanced, everything we had was delicious. I highly recommend the Special Chaat for starter and the Vegetable Handi, Chole or Aubergine and Pea Curry for main - delicious. The staff make you feel warm and welcome, headed up by owner and front of house Bobby along with his Mother and Wife, Chefs, Kaushy and Minal. I have since visited a further two times and plan to continue.

I visited some weeks ago, before the Gordon Ramsey tv appearance, and despite wanting a takeaway - I got the wrong entrance. I was filthy (in face and hands), im a mobile mechanic often attending broken down cars, yet I was welcomed and asked if I wanted to eat in. I couldn't say no, and used the facilities to clean myself up! I'm amazed by their attitude, their service, their food. My family thought I was exaggerating until they saw prashad on tv!

well done ladys for a fantastic tv show . i never been in your place to eat and ill love to, but its just to far for from essex where i leave right now but you never know :) well done again and looking forward to dinne in your place !!!!

Had some business in Bradford Friday last so had decided to visit Prashad for lunch, was a bit worried that fame may have gone to their heads but not so - same great food and friendly service just as our last visit over a year ago.(see review 26th May 2009) you might forget the TV show but you will definitely not forget your visit to prashad.
