Excellent food and attentive service.

We reviewed our last visit when we enjoyed the amazing Suckling Pig, and stated that we would return. We did, yesterday, and it was again superb. It's becoming a habit......

My wife and I love this restaurant. It offers tasty different food options from your standard Italian restaurant. Our last visit was for Sunday lunch, I had the delicious lamp chops and my wife had the lobster tail and prawn tagliatelle, both were amazing! Thank you Carla and Davide

Fabulous mussel starter and sublime dover sole Great wine to accompany Service perfect

This is home cooking Sardinian style - its like nonna's cooking. Beautiftl artisan handmade pasta with amazing sauces and meats. I had tagliatelle with sardinian sausage and sauce for my main and it was sublime . For my starter I had baby octopus which was so tender and tasty. My wife had a sardine starter in a lemon zesty sauce which she loved & the same main and my daughter had an artisan ravioli. The restaurant has an electic mix of wooden tables and chairs giving very much a sradinian trattoria vibe. The cooking is beyond perfect - and we will back for the pre-order menu where you order at least 24 hours in advance and then the world of flavours really open up - the menu looks incredible. Cant wait. Wonderful friendly service - the couple who own this restuarant are genuinely sardinian - he is the chef and she the front of house. Cannot fault

Very courteous approach to a beautiful business. The decor, the hostess and lighting, I felt at home. Food was fresh which was great and tasty. The pasta dish that I had did not stand up to the standards, but the mussels, cuttlefish and the whitebait were brilliant. I would definitely return. The experience has given me the trust that I can get better with a preorder. Thank you.

We visited for lunch on Friday and have to say it was absolutely fantastic. The Montepulciano was superb and our meals cooked to perfection. Carla was so friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be returning to sample their pre order dinner menu.

My wife & I traveled to Eastbourne especially for the Suckling Pig and we were not disappointed. Everything about our meal was excellent and was complemented perfectly with a bottle of superb Sardinian wine. We will be returning.

We are really lucky to have Ancient Grains on our doorstep - but if it not on yours it is worth traveling for. Nothing is too much trouble, the food and wine was amazing and a great atmosphere to enjoy with friends.

Absolutely fantastic, authentic and stunningly prepared Sardinian food. Cooked with individual passion and care. The service matches the food. All presented with pleasure and modesty. This place is indeed a hidden gem.

Had a really lovely meal here on a busy Friday night. We had been in communication with Ancient Grains to order from their advance menu. We had the coccoi de Tamatta and the calamaretti fritti to start with orato al cartoccio and agnello al limone to folow. Everything was delicious and felt homemade in the best possible way. The love for the food shines through with the attention to detail and service. Really looking forward to going again soon.
