Curry Garden – Weston Super MareHad a brilliant meal this lunchtime for dads birthday. Breast of lamb was to die for.....mmmmmmm. Really good value.
Drum and Monkey – ClevedonI went to the Talbot tonight with friends the staff were friendly and helpful. The food, omg was awful. The menu picture was so much better than when it came out over cooked burnt nearly lost a tooth. Won't be going back at all not even our friends will go back, should have stayed in had beans on toast would have been more enjoyable. What a waste of money we spent, fed up big time.
Talbot Inn – KeynshamAbsolutely disgusting, I feel very sick and a praying I don't get food poising !!! That was not even steak !!! Asked for no peas... Got them! No tomato.... Got them! Asked for medium / well and it arrived still kicking!!!! The texture was not even steak like!!! I feel sick, would not rate the food at all!!! I am just praying I don't get food poisoning?!!
The Wishing Well – Longwell GreenThis is a very nice pub where you can spend time with family friends, very good, professional customer service. I recommend to all.
Crab Apple Inn The – ClevedonToday I came to have a breakfast the food that I had was not worth eating and the hygiene of the people that was serving was bad using their fingers to dish out food instead of using the utensils. As I work in Bristol me and my colleagues will not be eating here again. Worst food and hygiene ever I am disgusted with what happened and going to report this to health and hygiene.
St Georges Hall – Wetherspoons – Bristol City CentreWonderful seabass last night. One of my favourite restaurants in Bristol, never disappointed.
Fishers Restaurant – CliftonNot at all happy this evening. Found a hair in salad, waitress laughed it off. When I received bill and asked what the chef had said, she repiled, he is sorry but he does not have long hair. The hair was short in any case! She then short changed me £5 after reluctantly agreeing to a reduction of £2!
The Biblos on the Hill – BishopstonSunday 9th of August evening. A large sign says 2 courses menu 9.95. In a very small font, it says from Monday to Saturday. What is the point of putting up this large sign if not to mislead people?
Brasserie Blanc – BathBest I have tasted for years. Took me back in time.
Winscombe Fish Bar – WinscombeAlways had a consistant great sunday carvery.
Harvest Moon – BridgwaterI have been going to GIGI's in Glastonbury for well over 20 years. My children have grown up eating there and I took my wife on one of our first dates there. Why ? Simply the nicest pizzas ever, especially their garlic pizza. We love GiGi'S.. Service is great and the waitors are always friendly. They even gave me a box of Peroni glasses once. Please don't ask them for some. I have been going for over 20 years, it was my birthday!
Gigi’s – GlastonburyFantastic and amazing pub food great venue for couples family's and even dog friendly. Sunday carvery is so good 4 choices of meat homemade yorkies andfresh vevegetables. Amazing real ale and staff that are friendly and helpful. One of the best pubs around Somerset!!
The Enmore Inn – BridgwaterThis restaurant has just opened. I went on consecutive nights, first with a friend and then with my partner and teenage children. I enjoyed it both times. Even though it's part of an expanding chain it doesn't feel like it. The service was excellent and the food was excellent. It was also packed and had a lively atmosphere. There's a takeaway menu too which we'll look forward to using too
Giggling Squid – CliftonWe are four ladies that used a Groupon voucher last Tuesday. I must say we throughly enjoyed the steak meal we had. We all said we would go again. Your staff were excellent and made us feel very welcome.. Many thanks for a lovely evening. Mrs Pam Payne.
The Salthouse and The Grill On The Hill – ClevedonDivine new Thai restaurant on the former Strada site. Word has soon got out and it's quite difficult to get a table without pre booking, even at lunch times. The best Thai restaurant in Wiltshire, by some distance.Try the salt and peppers squid. Perfect. Tremendous value and lovely staff.
Giggling Squid – CliftonUnsatisfactory visit. We took my elderly parents to Scarletts in Clevedon. We ordered flapjacks, for Mother and I. Mother managed to cut a very small piece off, and nearly lost the lot on the floor. Flapjack very hard indeed. Complained to manager, and I demonstrated with my fork how hard Flapjack was. I was told to stop stabbing at it, and without being asked, was presented with 2 Brownies. I said that I would like carrot cake. Very bad service obviously only concerned with reselling Flapjack which had been handled by us. To top it all, when my daughter paid, she was asked for an extra £1 as it was carrot cake.
Scarletts – ClevedonThe warm welcome was particularly appreciated on a rather cold chilly night and the superb food and excellent service made for thoroughly enjoyable evening. We were a party of 6 having various starters and mains. Everyone without exception thought their food to be excellent. Both the landlord (Colin) and his wife took time to check that everything was to our satisfaction and to engage in small conversation. A small homely pub with a good menu choice is definitely recommended. We will be returning.
Queen Adelaide The – BlagdonScrumptious Cream Tea, £20pp. Add a bottle of Prosecco for £20. Pre-booking required.
