Very accommodating with menu variations - They always make me an aloo gobi jalfrezi and it never fails to please! Great Garlic naan, although they do have a tendency to overcook their onion bhaji (the benchmark for a good Indian restaurant) Overall... great value - consistent quality - take outs travel well!

The creme de la creme...this is Indian cuisine at it's finest imo! Amazing decor retaining the original features of the stock exchange, it has a real colonial feel and the staff certainly treat you like royalty every time. Super fresh produce used in every dish - no frozen veg here! A superb choice of dishes with a broad selection for vegetarians. I particularly recommend Piaz-e-Bhaji (their take on onion bhaji) and Bagar-e-Begun (Aubergines & potato in a tamarind, peanut, red chilies sauce) lip smacklingly good!

Between average and Pricey but extremely well worth every penny!! The food is absolutely fabulous and very unusual, the drinks are also very nice with an extremely good selection. Very friendly staff and child friendly (my friend took her baby). Perhaps caters for more unusual tastes, some members of the party would have liked something more basic such as a veggie burger or a veggie chilli, with some chips or plain potatoes, could perhaps cater better for veggies that prefer meals that they know. But on the whole excellent, I will definitely come here again!! Thanks guys!!

Nice restaurant, excellent food, well worth a visit only minus point is they don’t use table heaters and food is apt to get cold quickly

In my view the best Indian restaurant in Bristol, love Indian food and have eaten in many places including Europe. You have to try there and i promise you they'll not disappoint and you'll make this your local Indian restaurant and take-away. Anne Irwin

We recently visited the panborough last sat early evening; the restaurant was fairly busy seeing as it was early. Our order was taken promptly and food arrived equally as promptly we had garlic mushrooms and deep fried brie both were lovely. For the main i had a favourite of mine steak and ale pie which was the best ive had, the meat was so tender and the gravy mouth-watering and my husband had a really tender steak (all meat comes from local butchers) we will definitely be returning

A really nice place for a drink or a meal. It has an extensive menu, so it is possible to have a light snack or a full dinner. Somewhere I didn't feel uncomfortable on my own.

Ordered a takeaway last night - wow. The Chicken Rangani and Coconut Rice was an awesome combination. Yumm. This is the best curry I've had since Delhi. Can't wait to try their other curries.

a really friendly place, with fresh home cooked food. Brilliant for meeting new people. Lunchtime food only, they only serve snacks in the evening when it is more bar than bistro.
