La Bonne Vie – TauntonBrilliant Indian takeaway and quick delivery! Food tastes yummy and the prices are really good! An excellent restaurant!
Omar’s Indian – HorfieldThis is a delightful little cafe. Seems unchanged since 1963. Roasts very good and inexpensive. Real service with a smile!
Cafe La Mer – Weston Super MareVery friendly staff would definitely recommend. Rooms are bright and airy and the management are exceptionally friendly. Altogether a very pleasant stay good luck to you all you deserve it as you have done a wonderful job
The Cannards Well Hotel – Shepton MalletWe have eaten at the Alcombe Tandoori on quite a few occasions. I can honestly say it is the best Indian restaurant I have been to - superb service, lovely food and a stylish setting. The prices are very reasonable - if you're in the Minehead area book a table!
Alcombe Tandoori – MineheadLast night was my first visit to this restaurant and it was very good. I had Herring fillets in four marinades with potato and pimento salad to start which were nicely presented and tasted great. I can honestly recommend the Glen Fyne prime Highland 8oz sirloin steak, dry-aged for 28 days it was a beautiful cut and was also beautifully presented. The service was impeccable with friendly polite staff who were informative and helpful. Everything was spotless and it is interesting to watch the chefs preparing the food only 8feet from your table!
Loch Fyne Restaurant – Bristol City CentreExcellent food especially massala dosa and fish curry, and nice surroundings with nice friendly service. Gorgeous food and very helpful staff. The lunchtime special is incredibly good value as well
Krishna Inn – CliftonWent to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed! The mussels are fantastic and friendly staff made this a most agreeable and pleasant dining experience
Zerodegrees – Bristol City CentreHave been to this restaurant a few times now, the food is excellent, and very fresh. We liked it so much we went twice in one week. They have a two course meal for about £7 and they don? down size the portions on this offer, all in all a really nice place.
Bauhinia – Cliftonmy wife and I have eaten at Uddins East Reach Taunton on several occasions and had several takeaways and been delighted on each occasion.
Uddins – TauntonLovely food, and a nice atmosphere. Very good restaurant, and good prices, too.
Tarantella – Weston Super MareTo the Bengal spice in williton I would recommend to everyone as the staff are very friendly and polite and have always found the food to be of a high standard
Bengal Spice The – TauntonWhat an amazing place! The food is excellent with a season menu. Great selection of wines and not a bad price for an excellent restaurant. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone
Mon Plaisir – ClevedonA great little place, fab food, really friendly staff, will definitely be returning. It is possible to miss it, looks so small from outside, so make a point of looking for it and go there. Go on, spoil yourself, it'll be worth it.
Kebab House The – Bristol City CentreWe visited Tootsies on a Saturday afternoon after a few park street cocktails. We expected to find pub style food as the menu and appearance would suggest but we were pleasantly surprised to find very well presented and tasty food, including the biggest burger we've ever seen! Great cocktails and smoothies too, lovely with vodka!
Gourmet Burger Kitchen – Bristol City CentreLovely Food. Friendly staff. Nice for a special occasion. Not pricey at all.
Captains Cabin – Weston Super MareUninspiring curry, fine if you want a basic curry, but don't expect magic.
Ahmed’s Curry Cafe – Bristol City CentreThe Chinese food here is good for Bristol (and believe me with a Chinese partner I have tried all the main ones in Bristol). The best in Bristol, by the way, is the Mayflower. If you can read the Chinese only part of the menu then you will be in for a real treat because it is so authentic the restaurant actually serves mostly Chinese restaurant owners (a secret you should know is that most Chinese restaurant owners in the UK have not been trained to cook in China and the food they serve to British customers bares no resemblance to anything they would eat themselves). If you can't read the Chinese then you can still order all the usual dishes you see elsewhere, but these are not as authentic. The best treat is the dim sum.
Scrumptious Cream Tea, £20pp. Add a bottle of Prosecco for £20. Pre-booking required.
