Lovely cosy Italian restaurant. Delicious food and great service.
Martini – BathThis restaurant is ok I suppose, but I have had better pizza from a supermarket! Pasta is ok, but would go to a real Italian restaurant if I was looking for pizza or pasta in the future. I have been here a few times though as I worked just up the road! One nice thing about Pizza Express is that you can see the chef at work if you have a table on the ground floor. I found that there is less of an atmosphere downstairs in this restaurant.
Pizza Express – BathThe family four returned to the Sheppey, for quick bite and, to see how things were going, True to there word the owners were busy gutting the interior and, making things anew, if it? as good as the outside arrangement, were going to be well pleased, the place was obviously closed for midweek dining. But we shall be true to our word, and return to see the finished article, in a few weeks time, can? wait best of luck.
Sheppey Inn The – WellsThe family four has finally landed at the Inn. A beautiful new decking arrangement was being produced outside. This is going to prove popular during the hot periods. However we went to eat the service was provided by a fluent speaking German girl, whose teutonic efficiency, was spot on. The drinks were delivered, and inviting, the food was excellent in my opinion, we had chicken curry, bean curry and lasagne. All served up with no effort, and plentiful, considering we only had the light portions. We followed with the ice cream desserts. The food was well presented and well cooked, tasty and delicious, we shall definitely be going back to try other dishes. Other dishes we saw were all of the same high standard. If i had to make fault i could only say that, for invalids the 2 small flights in the entrance need watching, this apart go there and experience this wonderful delight.
Panborough Inn The – WellsI have been to a few Indians in the Bristol and South Wales area and Lal Jomi is up there with the best of them. I would agree that from time to time service suffers, but only due to amount of customer demand. Parking is also sometimes an issue due to its location but the walk is often good for the digestion.
Lal Jomi Pavillion Restaurant – Bristol City CentreVery 'safe' menu. Nothing too challenging for the cook. Well presented and the service was good. The clientele is mainly over 60's though and the atmosphere much too serious for the food on offer.
Old Bear The – TauntonWe ate there last Saturday night and the place was heaving. The staff were totally rushed off their feet but coped wonderfully. The food leaving the kitchen was some of the best I've had in Bristol in a long time. All 5 of us agreed it's a special place. The bar was a little too busy, but we stopped, had a few than headed home. What amazed me more than anything were the customers - an eclectic mix of young proffs, middle aged couples and 'the trendies'. Perfect company and a surprising find on Park St.
Goldbrick House – Bristol City CentreI Have been going to la grotta fro years on end! my whole family love it there as we know all the staff and owners.. We do get a little spoilt as we know them but many of my friends go there and ask me to take them again because they love it so much! it is a great place i really recommend it !!!
La Grotta – Bristol City CentreExcellent offers, authentic seasonal dishes and a good selection of pan-Asian beers. We had a really good night out and can really recommend it!
Bauhinia – CliftonJust come home from an excellent meal for two at Juniper. Never been before and tend to stick to places I know - but I am glad I took the opportunity to see if what I had heard was true. Food was excellent, the manageress Jess was on her own but that didn? take away from the relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and have already decided to go back again soon.
Juniper Restaurant – Bristol City CentreWent for the carvery, after being recommended. Newly refurbished bar/dining area. The day four of us went, the carvery, best I have seen in the area, and I counted TEN veg for the price. We have been several times since on speck, but unable too get a table, booking is a must it seems we'll be back.
The Woolpack Inn – Weston Super MareWhat Fantastic food it was like eating restaurant food in a pub. Good size portions will be going again no doubt great value for money
Fleur De LIs – Staple HillRelaxed, informal dining, perfect for couples, friends and families. Very friendly and for once getting the bill was a welcome surprise!!!
Pizza Provencale – CliftonOn the 2nd of Feb, 6 of us friends went down for a meal which was recommended by another friend. We were extremely pleased with the food and customer service was fab! We truly did have a wonderful experience. We?l definitely go again!
Curry Mahal – Bathexcellent service! atmosphere is very cosy....staff are great, and last but not least the food was delicious! i would recommend everyone to go and try it.
Curry Mahal – Bathi was recommended by a friend to go and have a meal. it was very good food.and good price. i will recommend any one to try it.
Curry Mahal – BathMe and my associate were in Bath on a business trip and were recommended by one of my clients to go and try a meal at the Curry Mahal. So we did and we were pleasantly surprised. I tried the chicken mon pasand, it had distant flavours to it and the chicken was so tender. My friend also enjoyed his meal very much. The guys in there were so friendly and inviting, so much so that we came back the next day for another meal before we left bath.
Curry Mahal – BathReturned after 35 years to find delightful hosts and staff. Good choices, ample servings. Thoroughly recommend
