Lovely food, great price considering you can help yourself to unlimited trips to the salad cart. Outdoor play area for the kids, service not so great one young lad who is brilliant and without fail will be on hand to entertain with balloons and crayons sad let down by one waitress who tends to mess up your order, go there and you will see who I mean! Definitely worth a trip.

I visited Bella Italia on a Friday and it was pretty busy. Although we were attended to quickly, we did have to wait about 1/2 an hour for a table as they were so busy. Our waitress was friendly and kind and attentive. There were three of us each having a main, a drink and a pudding and it came to roughly £32 which was good for the lovely food we had! have been since!

Your mouth will water as soon as you get through the door. Highly recommend choosing from the specials board. Great service with genuine friendly atmosphere. Food to die for!

Six of us picked Sands for our son-in-law's birthday - they had been before and loved it. This place was really different and lived up to our expectations of what a Middle Eastern restaurant should be. We have visited Greece and Turkey and the food was quite similar. Our 20 year old son loves exotic and spicy food and he couldn't wait to visit again on his birthday. All in all it was a wonderful experience except we really hate cover charges. We usually tip generously but never if there is a service charge. But I suppose they have to cover themselves (excuse the pun) as the British are not renowned for tipping.

Of late the food has not been quite as good as it was and recently we found out that the chef we loved so much has left! The food is still really good but they haven? quite got it to the standard that it was. Still worth going to but as for us, we have followed our chef. Still fantastic service.

The Food was amazing it was so fresh and beautifully presented, the staff were attentive and knew the menu and food! The terrace was a lovely place to start with a drink and also would be lovely to eat out there if it had been warmer ! Overall this was a top find and well worth a visit! 10/10

An unexpected find at the back of a rather ordinary pub. This simple restaurant, on a cliff over looking the sea specialises in sea food. A somewhat 60's atmosphere should not put you off, for the food can be quite enterprising. Seared scallops as a starter were nicely cooked and so fresh, the dish that stood out was the smoked haddock with poached egg and spinach, finished with hollandaise. The succulent fish, not dyed yellow, had a great oak-smoked flavour, and was perfectly cooked and went so well with the traditional poached egg. The duck was nicely cooked and tender, though a little short on seasoning. Choose well and you will have a most enjoyable meal here with friendly if simple service. Considering the quality of ingredients used, it is not expensive.

This is a lovely pub with a relaxed and comfortable ambience. The pub faces on to the canal path with a big garden perfect for families. No dogs allowed

As a lover of Brazilian football watching world cup matches here has been the highlight of my week since the tournament started. Good food, discount Brazilian beer and an atmosphere as close to being at the match as I have ever experienced, samba drumming when Brazil attack and lots of Brazilian people with flags, dancing in euphoria when Brazil score.

We go to unwind every Friday after work and do just that....unwind! We love the olives on the tables and they have an excellent wine choice.

I really liked it. It had a bit of a rustic feel with the concrete floors, garden style furniture and erm interesting 60s style lamps with tables attached. The beer is what you'd expect to pay in town...2.90 for a pint of yes on draught of becks.

The best restaurant in Minehead, best food, best service, cost, less portions are much much bigger. Don? just take my word for it, try it for yourself.

Delicious food all home cooked, and made using local produce, wide ranging menu that changes every day but still has favourites on there all the time such as whitebait with homemade tartare, homemade burgers and sticky toffee pudding. Lovely atmosphere and good wine and beer
