Yum Yum Thai – BathGreat Mediterranean food, with a wide choice of Tapas and sharing food. We enjoyed the dining experience but even better was the live music treat we had on a Wednesday night that was quite unexpected! The service is very pleasant and we did not feel at all rushed. Prices were normal and a wide variety of drinks always helps. I will definitely visit again. Thank you antics.
Antix – Bristol City CentreThe jaipur on first impressions is very welcoming with nice interior we were made to feel quite relaxed . We ordered our drinks and poppadoms, but no sooner had we started the poppadoms our main courses arrived and so by the time we had finished our poppadoms our main courses were cold. This was a shame because the food was good. We were also disappointed because we asked for non smoking and ended up in the smoking part of the restaurant and found out towards the end when someone lit up! The Jaipur could be a great restaurant but definitely needs to brush up on its service and make smoking areas more clear.
Jaipur – BathHad a very good experiencing when visiting the rose and crown, the place was full of customers and a great atmosphere. the food was brilliant, best pub food around the area!
The Rose & Crown – Staple HillSuperb, worth the drive fantastic location, quality local produce
Andrews On The Weir – MineheadThis restaurant is one of Bristol's best kept secrets! Friendly and family run, it offers a delicious range of authentic Italian dishes at extremely modest prices. The best thing of all is that they definitely don't scimp on the portions like so many restaurants these days and you leave truly satisfied! A lovely place for a warm and relaxed meal out with family or friends.
Piazza di Roma – CliftonThis is a superb place to have a curry...it isn't you basic - one sauce fits all - menu...the special dishes are really great, the king prawn are always cooked to perfection and if you're a garlic lover like me then the chilli garlic chicken is lush. A good curry house should always be judged on its nans...this place doesn't fail they are superb...go eat!
Ahmed’s Curry Cafe – Bristol City CentreI went to Yeovil and I thought it was lovely and the service was great i cant eat any other Chinese after I have had the BEST!!!!! I would go back a third time, without a doubt!!!!
New Dynasty – YeovilA warm welcome awaits you at this authentic Greek restaurant, the food was excellent. So much the waiter allowed us to take home the left overs.. breakfast was great.
Sousta Greek Taverna – CongresburyHad a fabulous evening, excellent food and service, very busy but that didn't detract from the great ambience, very nice, I would go again and would recommend.
Tarantella – Weston Super Marenot so much an eating pub, but their sunday roasts are edible and not very costly. friendly bar staff and a happy place to go for a few drinks after work! nothing much for the kids, a small garden.
Maytree Public House – KingswoodFor a small village pub, this is an excellent eating place with a wide selection of food. Very generous portions and you must try their exotic meat menus; Wild Boar Sausages are fantastic!!
Westbury Inn The – WellsVery Good meal on a very bizzy bank holiday afternoon. Ideal for children with a good play area. Good choice for a great meal out!
Camelot Inn – WellsVery impressed with level of service and quality of food. As I have gluten intolerance I was very impressed with the awareness of this food intolerance and the service offered to accommodate a specialist diet requirement. Will be back again.
Riverstation – Bristol City CentreWe enjoyed the experience, it was busy, Sunday afternoon, but the staff were attentive without being intrusive. We were kept informed about any delays and it was done with flair and good humour. We live 20 miles away but I would drive the distance to eat there again. We have several similar places near us but the service is appalling, I would willingly pay the extra for decent service.
Lamb and Flag Harvester – Westbury-on-TrymServed by three different waiters/waitresses who didn't seem to speak to each other. Food was very good and service was OK. Special offer on 2 courses for £7.95 was only applied after bill was completed at higher amount and queried - and then according to the waitress it was our fault. Well pardon me, I pointed to every item ordered on the "2 courses for £7.95" page of the menu (I don't know how much clearer I could have made that).
Emersons Green Beefeater – Staple HillA wonderful experience, relaxed atmosphere, excellent food and a fair price. The set meals for 2 are indeed too much. Will certainly return and order in stages from the excellent sushi menu.
Obento – Bristol City CentreWhat a night... Sousta ticked all the boxes!!!!!! It? a must night out
Sousta Greek Taverna – CongresburyScrumptious Cream Tea, £20pp. Add a bottle of Prosecco for £20. Pre-booking required.
Every Friday and Saturday evening: 2 meals for £20.
