A very nice meal for two. We both had an excellent beef carpaccio starter followed by, respectively, seared scallops and smoked trout both excellent. I had an excellent pear tart with bleckcurrant sorbet. Would definately return if in Wells.
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsFour of us booked here for an evening meal. Service was excellent - attentive but unobtrusive - and the food equally good. Only weakness was we were all vegetarians and one of the veggie starters (mushrooms) had all gone* so choice was very limited. *It was the Cathedral’s fault - Evensong went on too long and another diner beat us to it!
