Cafe Ganges – Milton KeynesThe food was terrible, the worst Thai i have ever been to. four of us ordered here and none of us had a good meal. The service was also very poor. The oil they used for cooking was also dirty and you could taste this in the food. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!
Royal Siam – AylesburyMy wife and I visited for lunch on 5 January 2011. We were in early and it was very quiet, no doubt due to the time and season. The staff were suitably attentive without being on top of us. The starter, Marechi Paneer, was glorious - whenever I have eaten at Maliks I try to have that to start with as it is a thing of wonder. We then shared a Murgh Korai and Sag Aloo, with Pulao Rice and a Plain Naan. The rice was lovely and fragrant. My wife is very sensitive to hot food, so the Murgh and Sag were excellent for her - just full of flavour, and lovely big chunks of fresh, tender chicken breast.. Malik's is undoubtedly the best in the area, by a significant margin. Tim Child
Maliks of Marlow – MarlowA lovely restaurant with lovely staff. They never rush you around even if you go just with friends and end up chatting and not ordering lots. It has a great atmosphere with some great food. I always have the same dish because it is just that good.
Va Pensiero – BeaconsfieldI visited this restaurant today. The food took over 45 minutes to arrive and when it did my wife's dish was undercooked. The manager did not apologise and could not have cared less. I will never return to this awful restaurant.
Va Pensiero – Beaconsfieldvery very disappointed, the Christmas dinner was awful, we will never go back again.
The Bull Inn – Marlowsimply the best Annette and her staff are great and i will enjoy going there in 2011 happy Christmas and thank you guys.
Pizza Hut – Milton Keynesexcellent food, excellent service, nice ambience. reasonably priced.
Royal Siam – AylesburyFirst class service, delicious food, reasonably priced wines and drinks. What more could you want !!! The best oriental food for miles around.
Royal Siam – AylesburyI have been a long distance truck driver for 26 years and eaten fish and chips all over the UK, I have never found any fish and chips that have matched the quality and taste of good old Yorkshire fish and chips, that is until I tried Smiles at Bourne End, and I must say they are every bit as good.
Smiles – Bourne Endwe had lovely meal last week at the Beaconsfield, after some confusion with our telephone booking they found us a table
Loch Fyne – Beaconsfieldconsistently good food and service
Mela – AylesburyWe went there for lunch last week .The service was very good the place very clean and nice decor. The food was out of this world and unlike the stereotypical Indian restaurants. The food was QUALITY. We are looking forward to going again very soon.A*****
Coco Tamarind – Princes Risboroughi popped in for lunch with my dad about 4 weeks ago, the service was polite, prompt and helpful. We ordered a simple lunch meal which was delicious, this has given he a problem because my dad keeps pestering for a return visit, so i will be seeing you soon. Stephen
The Black Horse – Milton KeynesHorrible pub with no atmosphere and too many underage kids. Food is passable.
The Fleur de Lis – High WycombeHad a few meals here now. Every one excellent quality, and all different to the others. Proper quality grub, and if it's not on the menu, and he's got the ingredients, Chef will rustle it up. Overall: great food and service. Who can ask for more?
The Bell and Bear – OlneyJust had a sumptuous meal , Kleftico (lamb shank) was amazing. Fantastic atmosphere and a truly wonderful evening. Service was first class. I have booked my birthday celebration and also purchased tickets for myself and friends for the Alvin as Elvis evening on June 3rd 2010. Really looking forward to returning.
The Greek Taverna – AylesburyHad a nice burger here whilst waiting for a friend. Lovely pub in a nice village, but food is very expensive for what you get,
Cowpers Oak – Olney
