I enjoyed my first time at Astoria yesterday evening. I found it very easy to book a table using the online booking tool. I arrived and was greeted with a smile and shown to my table where my friend had already arrived - I ordered a drink and was promptly served. A great menu with varied choices of tapas to order from. Selecting dishes was hard as there was so much choice but everything was delicious. I was really impressed how quickly the food arrived at the table. Great atmosphere, great food great service will definitely be going again.

Good selection of tapas, very tasty and good value for money. Staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Excellent venue for a group willing to share.

Would definitely recommend The Astoria for the excellent and varied food, good service and atmosphere for any occasion whether just for lunch / dinner or any special occasion. There is always a warm welcome by Adrian and his staff and attention to your requirements during your time at the Astoria.

Lovely food, great atmosphere

We had a lovely even celebrating my Sons birthday, the food as always was delicious and there wasn’t a bit left at the end. Staff are always very attentive and make sure the look after you throughout the night.

Food, service, atmosphere all too notch. Even tried one of the seafood specials which went down well. Popped in early to arrange a suprise for my table which was ready and waiting on arrival much our delight. Very much recommended

Quick service, food varies Ie tapas. Pizzas great, potato bravas super. Fish dishes a little let down as tiny portions for the price unlike the other dishes. Overall I would recommend and return

We had an evening meal at 5:30 pm huge choice served very quick and efficient and at an excellent price with good quality we will go again thankyou

The food is always great and comes out fast! Absolutely love this place. The service could be better though. We were seated round the corner so it feels like you get forgotten about and the servers don't visit the table much so trying to order drinks or get their attention in general took a while. They also kept forgetting our drinks once we ordered so it took about 20 minutes for 2 drinks to arrive. You also feel very out of the way so it ruins the vibe a little.

Amazing food and service. The chef there is brilliant, he is so accomodating for my son who has a special diet.

The food was excellent and this sentiment was echoed by the rest of my group (4 of us) My only gripe was that we all ordered and the food arrived in quite an unusual order. Two of my party received all their 3 dishes before the other two had received anything. This was only a small issue though as the food arrived quickly and the host brought out complimentary bruschetta to tide us over until our food arrived. This certainly wouldnt put me off going again though, nor recommending it to friends and family.

Nice place and the food is quite good but a tad over priced at £19.95. Sorry will not be back at that price.
