Best tapas and pizzas in town! Been to Astoria a few times now and every time it has been fantastic. The place itself is lovely, staff are friendly, great atmosphere and the food is amazing!

Best food in any restaurant we have ever been too! Delicious! Didn’t seem very safe in relation to covid-19 which didn’t bother myself however for others I know it would ... one way system doesn’t get used and only the staff member on the door had a mask on who we saw.

Food was great, we had 1 pizzas, and fried fish,hake , everything was delicious and I had one of the best pizza so far in uk. The atmosphere was lovely,the waitress (Shannon)staff as well was very attentive. Would definitely recommend and come back

We sampled this week’s specials which were Devine! The salmon tartare was gorgeous. The staff are dedicated & passionate about the restaurant and their jobs. One took the time to talk to us about the daily struggles of trying to run successfully throughout Covid. We must continue to support local businesses like thIs even after the government eat out schemes are complete.

First time at the Astoria really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere mid week great holiday vibes. Quick service felt a real treat , had the hake and crayfish and the lemon sorbet pud would highly recommended

Astoria is my go to place .... with its welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff youre taken in to the wonderful world of tapas and forget youre in Lancashire. Being a fussy eater youre always wary but with the food looking so good and being tempted by the aroma my palate has been tingled by most of the dishes and all have been delightful. The menu is plentiful and with the changing weekly Chefs Specials and Special Offers you cant go wrong. Always try and book your table (quick and easy via their website) as it can get pretty busy at times.

Second visit. Food very high quality. Chorizo basco casserole from the special perfectly cooked Service extremely excellent and friendly. Downstairs the best place to dine for atmosphere and culinary sensation....

Went on Wednesday night with wifecand Son. Very busy. Excellent tapas and pizza. Service excellent. Will definitely be back.

We went for our lunch on hour break we pre-booked for 1 pm, arrived on time. We waited at the door and no one come to us to set us finally someone standing at the bar who I'm not sure if he worked there or knew someone who did look at the reservations and gave us a table. Our table wasn't ready and we were given the wrong menu to look at. So after moving tables and waiting 15 mins for our order to be taken, told we had the wrong menu. A further 10 mins later he came back to take our order again, and we had to inform him that we had to leave due to only having an hour for lunch and it has taken over 25 mins to take our order. They said it was busy but having worked in restaurants in the past 10 tables is not busy with 6 members of staff on. He got quite rude by then end when we decided to leave and go someone else for a quick bite.

Unfortunately I am unable to comment on the quality of the food as we didn't get to the point of eating any. We had booked a table for 6pm, shown to our table, where we sat and waited and then waited some more and at no point did anybody ask if we wanted to order a drink or even to give us menus to look at, whilst people that had arrived after us were seen to straight away Eventually we decided to leave and took our business elsewhere, overall a very disappointing but brief visit

Good was amazing couldn’t fault it at all. Atmosphere great but the service was shocking. The restaurant was busy but since we was sat at the table we was basically forgotten about. We had to keep getting up to ask someone to take our order. We sat there for 20mins after finishing our drink and meal and not one person asked if we wanted another drink or desert so we then asked for the bill.
