Superb food in a convivial atmosphere.We have been eating at Bailey's for a number of years ever since it was originally based in Whaley Bridge. The standard of food and atmosphere have always been excellent

We visited Baileys whilst on holiday, there was a party of 8 of us with two dogs and one of the party is a coeliac. The initial contact with the restaurant was brilliant very quick and easy. Food was amazing, the menu was marked for gf which was helpful for choosing. The service was efficient and friendly, the restaurant was relaxed in atmosphere. Shame we didn’t get to go twice the food was that good and well presented. If we are ever near Buxton again we will be sure to visit. Thank you for the experience stress free dining with a coeliac.

I booked a table for 12 for a family get together. Food, a mixture of starters, mains and desserts were all delicious and really nicely presented. Staff very helpful, knowledgable and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely atmosphere and the singer who came on at 9.30 was really good. Will definitely return again. Thank you.

Sunday lunch was fab Met up with a friend for Sunday lunch .The food and service were wonderful . Such a pleasant environment with nice staff - I will certainly be coming again Thanks to the chef and team

Me and my girlfriend have a lovely meal last night the food was really lovely and tasty , it was the first time we had eaten there but would definitely come again a meal and drinks

Excellent food, good service, friendly staff, good atmosphere, good value. Baileys is a place that I keep going back to.

Copied from my review on TripAdvisor: We had a superb meal on our first visit to Bailey's. We had an early evening dinner before going to the Opera House. We were welcomed and shown to a table in the window (we had booked the day before). We were told that the "Bailey's pie" was steak pie today so I decided to chose it. It was obviously home made and very tasty. The vegetables it was served with were just right: not overcooked but not too hard. My wife chose fillet steak, cooked rare, and she said it was the best steak she had had for years. Both meals were accompanied by chips which were excellent . We were intrigurued by the "Buxton pudding" on the menu and so had one to share for our dessert. As recommended by our waiter we had it with custard (rather than cream or ice-cream). It was a raspberry jam pie with a crumble topping. We really enjoyed it. The drinks list looked very interesting but as we were going to the theatre we stuck to tap water (which was provided as soon as we arrived without our having to ask). Service was excellent. It was very good value. For two main courses, one dessert and two coffees plus a tip we paid just under £60. We will be going back on our next trip to Buxton.

Excellent Sunday Roast (as always). We have eaten at Bailey's several times, mainly for Sunday Roasts or Special Occasions. The Food & Service is always excellent. It's a shame though that the Duck is no longer an option for the Sunday Roast

We had a large party of nine for Sunday lunch during the international festival. This was our second visit to Bailey’s within the week, and we were delighted. Great Sunday roasts, beautiful sea bass, finished with desserts and coffee. Also a beautiful red wine! Such good value for Sunday lunch, all the party left very happy.

Well, it certainly did not disappoint us. Our group of five had a fantastic meal, There was a bit of a wait for our food, as it was very busy, but it was worth it. The staff were friendly. I'm coeliac and it was no problem for them. I would certainly recommend Baileys Bar and Restaurant.

We are visiting from Australia and have met friends on a few evenings at Bailey's. The food and service are excellent. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

A very nice Sunday roast for 2 of us, my wife really enjoyed her sea bass and the dirty burger went very quickly. Friendly service and only tiny issue was it seemed to take quite a while from ordering until the meals arrived but it was quite busy. We'd certainly be happy to dine here again.

Baileys is always a delightful place to go. Start with a cool cocktail in this lovely summer weather. The food is consistently good. A varied menu. Good service and great service. It never fails to please
