As usual fab food and atmosphere- we will be back

We enjoyed a lovely evening under the warm hospitality of the staff at La Pergola, who were attentive and welcoming. Service was quick, despite how busy the restaurant had been, which was impressive. We enjoyed two starters and two pasta mains that were bursting with flavour and a true authentic Italian experience. I will definitely be returning here again when next in Cambridge and recommend it to those haven’t been!

A small group of us enjoyed a great meal at La Pergola yesterday, most of whom had never been before and all declared that it was splendid. In particular two who had the Scallopina di vitello declared it the best they had ever had - and generous portions. La Pergola has its own very Italian feeling and the continuity of staff give it a feeling of a bit of Italy transfused into England. Viva la Pergola!

Have not been to La Pergola for years and after this visit I can't imagine why. The only negative was the long wait before we were offered a drink. Apart from that, everything else was excellent. The food was superb. The spaghetti in my carbonara was perfectly cooked and probably the best I've ever had. My son had the Wild Boar Ragu and loved it. My wife had the biggest pizza I've seen and we had to help her finish it - really good. We will return very soon

Very pleasant meal served al fresco

I went on the recommendation of a friend and I'm so glad I did. What a lovely family run restaurant. Excellent food and great selection. Every table was busy which to me was a clear sign it's a popular place to go. We had such a lovely evening and will definitely go back.

Great food as always. A very busy Saturday evening so service was a bit slower than usual, but once we had ordered the food came out very quickly.

Three of us went for a birthday lunch on Saturday 27th July. The food was truly excellent, including the best steak I have ever tasted in my 72 years. There is a lovely family-run atmosphere and the service is both friendly and efficient. This was our second visit and this is my new favourite restaurant.

This was our first visit, we went with some friends who were recomended . OMG what a find food was excellant service was good . The entrance wants a bit of a sort out but everything else 10 out of 10

Four of us had lunch at La Pergola on Tuesday 23rd March. We were all delighted with the excellent food and service. There was a great deal of choice and something for everyone on the menu, which was good value for money. Only one of us had been before, and we have all agreed that we will definitely visit again. The restaurant is very comfortable, and there is a beautiful outside space. As it was a Tuesday lunchtime it was very quiet, but I suspect the atmosphere in the evening would be good. A lovely change to be able to visit an authentic family-run Italian restaurant.

Amazing as always.. Love this place and the staff nothing is ever too much.. Will be back very soon

I have been meaning to visit the La Pergola for some time after hearing great recommendations from friends and colleagues. My first impressions were, it was very busy, and clean, always a good sign. I noticed how busy the staff were running around doing there pleasing and the atmosphere felt like everyone was having a great time. We ordered drinks which came in no time, and as for the food, I was very pleased that what I was told was true to their word. We will definitely be coming back to the great hospitality and food we were shown.

We very much enjoyed our meal yesterday evening.

Took some friends who hadn’t been before , they were very impressed !!! Thanks as always for a great evening with great food !!! See you again !!!
